  1. I've ran like absolute a@@ the last 3-4 months now. I took a deep hard look at my game as previously stated on this site but I cant win a 70 30 for my life. I want all tips/prayers/rituals that my fellow P5'ers do to reverse their luck. Honest to god I will try everyone of them. Hopefully something will help and other people whom run bad can find this thread helpful also.

    Thanks boys and girls
  2. Do you masturbate before you play?

There was a time when I didn't, I think it's safe to say that time is behind me.

I like to multi-table a porn movie and 4 poker tables, sometimes I'll mix in a few still shots if I'm feeling promiscuous.

You obv need to significantly tighten up opening ranges near climax, almost to the point where AK is timeout folded UTG+2, but for the first 5-10 minutes I'm able to play my normal game.

  4. jtown owns - that is all!
  5. have you considered just dropping in buyins maybe a level or two? if you are a solid player you should easily beat these games and hopefully build some confidence

Tried this also...but this discourages me more cause I get them in even worse and still lose. My buddy asked me one day "try a training site" I said "do they teach your AK to not lose to AQ"? If a training site teaches me that, sign me up.

I doubt you will get that book past the editors if you are "wrighting" it

  10. ive been running like that for 5 months. probably the sickest thing to ever happen to me. boggles my mind how many 80/20, 70/30's etc. i can lose. let alone ever win a race deep in a tourny. ive tried alot of things and nothing has worked.

this post obv destined to be quoted as frequently as Jennifear's BR guide, or Annette's early pos low pp breakdown
  12. Training sites do help, but they don't help AQ beat AK thats for sure. Next time your all in, just think about what you are going to do after you take the bad beat, that way you can get a head start.

  17. "In order to run good you must play bad"

Direct qoute from a live cash game I was at last friday. The more I thought about it the more it made sense. "Good" players dont remember when they run well, because they get it in good, and it holds. To run good, and notice, you must get it in bad.

That is why 70% of players oyu talk to are "unlucky"
  18. I 12 table sngs. Whenever I call an all-in or get called I look at what he called with and then immediately minimize the table. It pops back up in 30 seconds or so with me at 0 or double. I never watch the replay if I lost but always watch if I won. It makes me have positive thoughts that I can win races.

    This

Watching allins have the cards get dealt out was getting soul-crushing. I started just shutting my eyes until I heard the last card dealt while calling for deuces and have run ridiculously better. Or at least saved a lot of anguish of getting sucked out on. or my favorite, the heartbreak of realizing you got it in bad, suck out on flop... and then get river re-sucked.

Made teh mistake f peeking early the other day and got fivered.

Whatever gets yo uthrough the night.... then changeup!

  21. I sent .02$ to 'confedrate' sunday night, since then ive made $200+ in each of my 7 or 8 sngs sessions, and am way on top of a battle of the planets leaderboard, and about to be on top of another leaderboard after i finish off my last 15 sngs for the high orbit.

so send $ to confedrate = run like god
