I started off play poker about 3 years ago. I loved the game and enjoyed playing every minute of it. It all seemed to go down hill when i was in a £500 freezout in uk. I was sitting 3rd in chips with 20 left. I had AA vs QQ... for chip lead. flop AQ4, turn 2, river Q. Now im running really bad and dont be able to get my hands to hold up.
Im not just talking about 50/50's here cus i kno you lose some you win some. Im on about wen people are consistantly hitting two outers on me on the river time after time. Im losing the fun out of the game. I dont know if im just cursed or my luck is just too bad to play the game. I dont really believe that one persons luck is different than anothers. Could anyone give me advice of how to overcome this constant bad run? -
Not much you really can do..keep getting your money in good and things will turn around and a few hands here or there will hold up.

TAKE A 4 DAY BREAK...

twice in a row last night i hit a 2 outer on a dude in a HU sng. my QQ vs AA and then 99 vs AA...both times on the river...dude almost lost it...what can you do??? keep on playing your game.

Take a break for a little bit...A couple of days or so and just forget about poker completely. You are probably tilting without even realising it, a couple of days away will ground you again.
When you do start playing, forget about how bad you've been running. Just concentrate on playing every hand the best you can, and as long as your getting it in ahead, theres not much else you can do.
Variance sucks but things will turn around. You just need to keep playing your A Game so when it does turn, your taking full advantage of it.
Hang in there! -
