  1. Ive been trying to 6 table cash games on tilt while running pokertracker 2 and PA HUD, but its just too damn slow. I have a core 2 duo, and I run ONLY pt2, pa hud, and tilt and nothing else...Ive never had trouble 9 tabling on stars while running itunes, internet, and a whole shit ton of other stuff. But for some reason tilt is always ridiculously slow. Anybody have any suggestions to fix this?

Yeah, I really can't play there...just check folded quads b/c this shit is so slow...my god

  4. i 6 table cash on fulltilt with PT2 and pahud and mine runs smooth without any lag whatsoever. I'm even on a POS 4 year old laptop with a P4 and only 512 ram.

Try turning on database cache on PAHUD (options, pref, database, click cache button) and see if that helps.
  5. i 12 table cash sometimes with it and i go no problems

    Try defrag/compacting PT
  6. i just did both and it took forever, so i'm assuming that was the problem. thanks guys.

  7. There are a lot of reasons your PT setup might not be operating correctly, but your CPU/RAM probably has the least amount of influence on the speed at which it runs; the speed at which pt can access large amounts of data on your hard drive is more likely to be the bottleneck.

Are you using a postgres SQL or access database? How many hands are in your db? When was the last time you clustered/vacuumed/analyzed your db? Does your PT database reside on the same harddrive as your operating system? Is your hd defragged? What is the RPM speed, I/O specs on your hd?

Most importantly, the pokertracker website has it's own, very comprehensive set of forums dedicated to these types of questions. Most PT2 problems have already been asked/answered ad nauseum. There are lots of tricks you can use such as caching your AceHud stats while periodically archiving your hand history database to keep it small.
  8. Switch to the SQL db instead of access. That did the trick for me.

And then archive off some hands if yo uhave too many you don't need -ie 15000 ring hands for player X
