  1. Did they release a HUD that keeps up with Rush poker yesterday? It seems like players have started to play a more "HUD like" style as far as decision making.
  2. Not sure how effective it has been, but yes Hold Em Manager released a update that allowed the HUD to work well playing "Rush Poker". It's not recent though, it came out 2 days after Rush hit.
  3. PokerTracker offered a solution two days ago, that's probably what you noticed. The Holdem Manager solution just exports stats in to your notes, while the PT3 is an near-instant HUD as soon the table is populated. I imagine Holdem Manager will have a similar HUD within a week or two.

How the hell can you tell players are playing more 'HUD like' when your table changes after every hand?? That's nearly impossible.

I guess he is saying that people now have a "read" on him.

it might be that people are using HUD/database to get a read, but it also could be that his style has become predictable and average.

That's Impressive, I was wondering how they were going to do that.

Maybe it just wasn't your best session????? I mean with the release of the HUD like yesterday I find it retarded if you think people have anywhere close to a sample size of hands deemed of any value to play optimally vs you.

On the other hand, i've never used a HUD so I don't know if it carriers over previous hands played with the player from reg games over to the rush tables..if so..nvm.

    GL.

    that is what HUDs do.

Database progarms like PT3 and HEM organize all the hand histories you have on Hard drive; and allow you to analyze the data easily.

HUDS then take that analysis and display it as an overlay on the table that you are playing. So if you have data on "joePOker45", the database will analyze his game and the HUD will display his stats in terms of easily identifiable coefficients and percentages. The most common of which is VPIP/PFR/AF/hands.

VPIP - percentage of times the villain is entering the pot voluntarily
PFR - how often the villain is raising pre flop
AF - the villains raise to call ratio.
    hands - sample size.

So if i had 2K hands on joe it would pop up when i was playing rush; however it wouldn't be very accurate, unless joe plays the same type of game while playing rush poker.

Also, and this is not directed at you, but the community, in order to use the player statistics effectively the user must have a theory behind what they mean and how to exploit player tendencies. It does not make playing poker easier, it makes you reads more accurate.

Playing cash games without a database/hud it is kind of like doing a complex mathemtaical problem that begins with some basic long division and preferring to do the long division by hand.
