    I made a gutsy, but what I thought was the right call in the WSOP satelite I just played on party, I lost the hand, but I think it was the right call, I'm curious about people's thoughts:

    There are 20 people left in a satelite with 8 winners of a wsop package, avg is roughly 59k. I've become severly short stacked and due to having 27os in the prior hand am taking the BB, I have 16,500. Blinds are 2000-4000 with a 100 ante I believe with 7 people at the table because they have consolidated yet. It folds to the button who has 29k which is desperate at this point and he moves in with the SB folding, I've got K4 off in the BB, if I fold I'll only have 12,500 left.

    My thinking is that I'm taking a 40/60 at worst here and he may push with any 2 cards, but it's most likely Ax, if I win the hand I'm going to have (2000+700+16500+16500)=35700, if I lose I'll be down to 12,500 and taking the SB.

    I feel that if I fold there is no way I'm not getting called when I move in and it's possible I could get checked down by 2 or 3 players. It's no gurantee that I'll get a hand that would be a favorite multiway as well. If you are fairly certain this is the case is it better to take most likely 40/60 with 2-1 pot odds? Or, even though you are going to have 3 BB left and taking the SB would you rather be the agressor ?

    I called the button had A5 and I ended up losing, but I think I made the right play, but I'm curious what other people think.

    There are so few channels at the hotel I'm at the best viewing option is Cops, maybe I should venture outside near the Stratoshere? I hear that's a fun area at night. There are no such things as answers anymore, just questions and opinionated opinions from the masses who really don't even have their own opinion just what they think their opinion should be based on the opinions of those that pull their strings.

    First of all Ed, Wow......get a room.

    Secondly, seems like a reasonable play, i think if you got two live cards it is good play and odds are you do (and you did), and you actually had a chance to be ahead.....in this situation he could have anything. Folding is probably reasonable too, but i hate it when I end up with four guys checking it down against me.....that is a disaster.

    The window won't open wide enough to throw the TV out of. Of course Im plyaing poker, duh....

    The damm room service put marina on my spaghetti, i said MARINARA ON THE SIDE, dammit that put me on tilt, I asked her to give me 20 pushups and scrape it off for me, but she just kept talking about how much she liked the Pina Colada Song. It's so hard playing poker nowadays.
