is he always outplaying me on this board?
looking on it now, he is bet sizing to get me all in on the river intentionally isnt he?
  2. Your thread title says "25 to go"...do you mean until the money?

He definitely isn't bet sizing to get you all-in, necessarily...if he was, he would have bet more than 1/3 the pot on the flop and turn. He would have bet enough on the flop where the turn was a shove.

I think your line is OK.

  4. ul, but with just under 19bb i'd be more inclined to just openshove AK instead of opening it from ep cuz you'll miss the flop 2/3 of the time and it would be terrible to have to cbet/fold if you missed with that stack. You might even get called by AQ (in this case it wouldve been terrible :p) or MP's in which case your flippin with a decent amount of equity. And just picking up the blinds will increase your stack by almost 13%. And in your case where you sattied in, getting itm must mean alot to you so being so close to cashing i wouldnt make it diffucult by possibly getting yourself into a tough spot this shallowstacked.
also, open less like 2.2x-2.5x max once your playing w antes.
  5. thanks for the replys, esp about open shoving this many bbs i think that suits my situation well.
This did hurt, i satty in through the steps a lot but have no bankroll and i pay for my steps/games direct and cash out every win. ithink this may be my real issue with this hand..
i dont really think it was a mistake as such, as i did have some notion of opening up and taking over my table, but after the hand i felt i was outplayed and mad at missing out on some kind of bankroll.

100% this......Your situation, which you agree to, is that you need the bankroll. Based on the stacks I really believe there is only one play here and that is a full on shove.
Though your villian has the chips I somewhat doubt he is calling the all in bet....and if he does your way ahead, take a beat and move on.
