SB at FT of 180 Turbo -- Push?

    I'm the short stack at the of a $12 Turbo 180 player SNG. I think I'm pushing here with 22+, A2+, K2+ and any two face cards. But I hate busting from a FT in 9th place, so i'm questioning the push. Thoughts?

    Note: I lost a big pot a few hands before the final table which put me in this situation

    Are you trying for first place? If so, push this 100% of the time.

    If you're hoping to make it to 8th place and go bust with a slightly better hand, then go ahead and fold.

    You have an M of 4, when it folds around to me in SB I am shoving with any two cards every time. I open the stats window (in FTP) and place it over my cards so I can't even see them and chicken out... if it folds around to me, I raise allin without even looking at my cards first.

    If there had been action in front of you, this would be a different story, but with such a short stack there's not much that can be done.

    Yeah, I'm playing for first, which is why I felt like a push was correct. Just hate busting 9th. Thanks for the re-assurance.

    The BB woke up with a hand, that happens. He really isn't folding much here getting close to 2:1 to call and see the river - "Oh looks, I'M probaly live!" is plenty enough for him to call you down. Live touries I call these quite vocaly in the blind/dark because it makes you look wild & wide to people who don't get the math. Unless the big pot that got you was when you where UTG that was the hand to push wide. You had 1.5 more BBs & 2 more antes to push with and 1st action to open the pot so a bit more FE.

    easy shove and it isn't even close, you should also be shoving far far lighter than the range that you mentioned. download pokerstove and use it.
