  1. Its pretty obvious the small blind is shoving any 2 days these days.

Even when my range is strong BVB like QJ K9 Ax etc... im finding calling is becoming super non-profitable for me.

whats your guys thoughts on this?

Personally I don't like to make a call even with a hand that is likely to have decent equity against the SB shoving range unless I have either seen them do it often in previous orbits or I have a rather large stack and they have a fairly small stack. It seems like every time I do make a call with a slight edge I end up losing as do you.
  3. i don't shove any two in the sb, i make +ev shoves that are light though. If you're calling correctly and losing alot it's variance. Or your just calling too light.
  4. Depends on effective stacks. Play around with pokerstove and compare your calling ranges v. optimal and slightly wider than optimal shoves.

  5. OP you need to know the nash equilbrium push fold chart http://www.holdemresources.net/hr/sngs/hune.html

I like to shove hands like Kx, acex, small pairs and other suited connectors when in sb for up to 20bb sometimes because it takes the positional advantage away and they are +EV and unexploitable shoves.

also buy sng wiz and play around with the ranges like Flopnuts1 said

kev I checked out that chart you posted. What does all the 20+ and other numbers mean? Is that the number of bb it is profitable to shove/call with?
