<TABLE cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=1 width="100%" align=center border=0><TBODY><TR><TD width=5></TD><TD vAlign=top>+1.858M, my biggest win Just finished playing a 18 hour session of 500/1000 and 1000/2000 NLH and PLO mix. I ended up 1.858 million dollars which beats my previous best day by 3x the amount. Over the last three days, I finished up 1.52 million dollars (I had forgotten that I spent 40K on the PLO w/rebuy tourney). The game started with Sammy and I playing HU which resulted in me starting out up about 1 million dollars. Then the game began to fill with Bobby Baldwin, David Benyamine, Patrik Antonious, Brandon Adams, Nenad Medic, Rafi Amit and a few others that aren't coming to me right now. For most of the day and evening it was David, Patrick, Sammy, Bobby and I playing.
I was very impressed with Bobby Baldwin's play. He hardly ever plays poker anymore since he manages the Bellagio but he was sitting playing 4 handed at the end of the night with me, Patrik, and Sammy. Bobby was definitely holding his own and I was extremely suprised with how well he played. Most famous poker players are not very good and overrated -- this was not the case with Bobby; he had a great sense of people. One hand I raised UTG in PLO he called on the button and Sammy called in the big blind. Flop came TT4 and we all checked turn came a 5 and it was checked through again. The river came an ace and it was checked to Bobby who said "Sammy your ten is good." Sammy then sheepishly turned over a ten.
I don't think the game is going to run anymore so I am probably going to head back to Santa Barbara either today or tomorrow. I really dislike it here in Vegas and can't wait to get back home. I have no plans or interest to play anymore events but may have to play a few more for business reasons.
Also 1K/2K NL/PLO is a huge game and when it got 4 handed at the end of the night with Patrik, Bobby, and Sammy we were straddling every hand making it a 1K/2K/4K structure. At that point Bobby had about 1.5 million in front of him I had about the same, Sammy had about 750K and Patrik had 400K. The game was so big it's amazing and the swings associated are massive. I was up 1.2 million, then down to +400K, then back up to 1.8 million. Usually when the Big Game runs there is a cap of ~50BB that any one person can put into the pot. This protects people from losing too much in one hand and encourages more action as well as some weaker players to sit. We played uncapped and this is probably one of the biggest games to ever run. I really like playing uncapped as it's much more challenging to have money to bet on all three streets.

Brian is such a SICKO. Jesus...
-
Where's all the dumb shits that thought SF was going to bust him? This guy is an animal.
-
Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow
INTERNET KID >>>>> LIVE PROS
YAY OUR TIME HAS COME -
Brandon Adams was playing? I've always thought this guy was great, but I didn't know he had the BR for this. Playing over his head? -OR- Has many tourney scores/big cash game results I don't know about?
-
Brandon is becoming a semi regular in some of the bigger NL to PLO events. He is on High Stakes this upcoming season and he is a flat out genius.
-
cool
-
Obv not much of a sample size but thats a great way to start. His confidence is clearly soaring, I wonder where this goes long term.
LOL at every idiot that thought Farha would "smash" him. -
brian has 2 be the best player in the world right now. he is the biggest winner online and live.
-
"I really dislike it here in Vegas and can't wait to get back home."
LMAO... wish I hated vegas so much that I cant wait to leave this foresaken place where I pocketed 1.8 mil ....
GTFO
What hes really saying is I better leave before variance catches up to me and I lose some of this money. Cause believe it or not he doesnt want to lose 1 mil. -
brian is definetely excellent player online, but I think you cant say he is best player in the world..... his live results should be tested by time....... But I think right now that he has potential to be the best player in the world.....
I was one of those who thought Farha will " smash" him....... I was wrong and I admit it. Everybody makes mistakes.... -
Or it means that he hates vegas and wants to go home.
douche -
Internet kid done good.
Wow...with the $1M he brought that guy was walking around or straight deposited $2.8M!
That's F-ing gangster. -
"Cause believe it or not he doesnt want to lose 1 mil."
Could you please direct me to the idiot that DOES want to lose 1 million? -
"(I had forgotten that I spent 40K on the PLO w/rebuy tourney). "
I wish I could get to the day where I could spend 40k and just forget where it went. -
Kajun your post just keep getting worse and worse...
he has always talked about his dislike for casinos and vegas in general before he won 1.8 million
just bc ur a degen and will never have the chance to drop a million dont jump to conclusions about people you dont know anything about -
I'm with Camz...how baller is it to spend 40 g's and forget about it.
I spent $14 on dinner last week and I remember it.
Sick. -
You've obv. never been to SB. If you had you'd understand.
-
here's hoping that cardrunners subscription i got pays off.
what would you do with 1.8? I'd roll around in it. -
whatever dude, I just think that he thinks he is better then everyone else. Like please shoot me before I have to go back to vegas and win another 1.8 mil. Like seriously. How could he hate it? How do you know that I will never have a chance to drop a mil? Cause I don't play big online? I am 30 and semi retired, that should say something.
-
you're actually the one who sounds like he thinks he knows better than everyone else. you sound like a friend of mine, who is a complete douchebag. the point is, MONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING TO HIM. HE KNOWS QUITE WELL THAT HE HAD A GOOD SESSION regardless of whether he won or not, he doesn't like vegas or casinos in general, and he really doesn't like the overwhelming heat. He is low key, no big ego, and likes to take it easy. Vegas is not conducive to this.
find something else to do, because your posts on p5s are completely worthless -
1.8 is just about 10% of his net worth im guessing... any other guesses?
-
I'd say closer to half or a third of his net worth
-
LOL at half or third, you must be right, nobody has investments that make shitloads of money.
-
ok prove me wrong then d-bag
-
ok lets see, 1.5+ M dollar house, enough investments to retire and still live like a baller, made 1.7 M this MONTH on FTP,oodles of cash from poker before................and now this 1.8 score, yup obviously half. YOU'RE RIGHT
-
Dude, have you ever been to Vegas??? I find that three days in Vegas is about perfect. It seems anything over 1 week is too much. After a week in Vegas, I find myself thinking "if I see another set of silicon-filled tits in a push-up bra, I'm gonna kill somebody".
Obviously, everyone has a a threshold for a too much of a good thing. It seems SBRUGBY has had his fill of fun, and now wants to go home to relax. Sounds perfectly normal. Please try harder and find something else to hate on.
