    Do not talk to MYNAMEIZGREG on AIM. My name is Dean Hamrick and he hacked my screen name on AIM. If you get any weird IM's from me asking for money, it is this hacker. They are using the email adress jrounder82@live.com and the first name Jeremiah on cake. This guy can hack into your AIM account just by talking to you online so watch out. He will IM you and shoot the shit for a few weeks and then hack your account. He may have had mine hacked for some period of time. Like I said, watch out for him, and, in the meantime, DO NOT send me money if my screen name IM's you asking for it (he was having people send it via western union). I hope this saves some people some hassle.

    This really is Dean, and I appreciate that, but like I said the poit of the thread is to make sure noone falls for this guy's scam. If you get any IM from me about money make sure to either see me in person, or call me on the phone. You can't fake that.

    fwiw jrounder82@live.com is my friend's email account (believer82) that he hacked last week. be careful becasue he also got into my friends facebook and hit people up for money on FBChat so make sure you change that password and email associated with it.

    I've heard of this stuff happening...but how do they do it? That would help me more than anything so that I can prevent this type of stuff.

    never use AIM. there are plenty of other messaging services that are just as good or better than AOL's.
