They go from $21.60 to $54 to $108, so you're numbers are alittle off.

I'm talking about the Turbo ones. They're a little cheaper.

And, I'm watching your game right now. Good Luck!

Has anyone determined what the optimal ABC strategy is in these? TAG play with position limping until, what, 75/150 then shove/fold depending on stacks?

That's a lot of IFs. GL with that plan. After it works, you should try this plan.

Throw the full $20k into the stock market and spend it all on one stock.

    If it doubles, sell it.

Take the full 40k and put it all into another stock.

    If it doubles, sell it.

Take the full 80k and put it into another stock.

    If it doubles, sell it.

Take the full 160k and put it into another stock.

    If it doubles, sell it.

Keep going until you figure you'll never have to work again.

I would say TAG with absolutely no limping at all after the blinds reach 25/50

If you've got a bankroll of over 1 buyin as OP suggests and you're better than an average sng player you're playing roulette with more of on color than the other.

It's not entirely unlike playing steps right?

Or, I can just take the 20 K and then bet on the Bengals to win a game. That'll ruin about 3 months of grinding right there.

That's exactly what this is. It's a way to play a higher buy-in tournament with minimal risk. The problem is that when you see that you've got $40 from the original $5.20 that you invested, the tendency is to hold on to that money. So, before you try this strategy, you have to get your mind right and be willing to lose your initial investment, but in the hopes of multiplying it.

Okay, I'll admit, I screwed up the original strategy due to a small miscalculation in math. Here's the new plan:

    Set aside $6.40

Play one $5.20 Double or Nothing Turbo SNG

    If you win:

Play one $10.40 Double or Nothing Turbo SNG

    If you win:

Play one $20.80 Double or Nothing Turbo SNG

If you win you are left with $40 with a profit of $33.60
All you do is play 4 tables and then you are left with $160 with a profit of $134.40

Do this for 30 days and you'll have a profit of $4032

Each of these Turbo DorN SNG take about 30-45 minutes to complete, so you would put about 3 hours of work in per day. So burn your resume. Drop out of college. Tell your boss to go Eff himself. This is the only plan you'll need.

Play poker all night, bang chicks all day!

I think Multi tabling these would be pretty profitable considering I am terrible at endgame if I am in a lot of SNG's but I could probably 12 table these bad boys and make some decent cash.

Come rail if you like. I am starting at the $10.80 non-turbo and going to try to get to, and play, the $108 without stopping. Single table experiment for a bored afternoon project. Chat is disabled in these once it gets 7-handed.

    jsmanuel on Stars, obv.

I figure once I get to the $108, if I cash in it, I'll withdraw $100. Rinse and repeat. Why not?

Off to the $21.60, I've noticed one small problem though. The rake prevents this, especially with the jump from $21.60 to $54.

$10.80, win and cash for $20. Profit $9.20

$21.60, win and cash for $40. Profit $18.40

After the $40 cash and the profit from the $20 cash you're still quite a few dollars short for the buy-in to the $54.

I'd rather just stick the $5 in a cash game, and try to build it up that way. I hate those double up SNG's.

Ok I just won the $21.60, but I don't have the $54 yet (only using money from these SNGs) so should I play a $10.80 or another $21.60? I am still roughly $10 short.

What level are you starting at? I am going to play another $10.80 in about 30 minutes, so when you're at the $10.80 level you may want to play 2 before you play a $21.60 so you can have the buy-in for the $54.

    Good luck.

Okay, I just fixed the system. Added a $10.40 DorN SNG after winning the $20.80 DorN SNG. Just have to finish ITM in 6 straight to make this happen. Piece of Cake

Im starting at the $5.00 level.

edit: Due to the big jump after the $20.00 level I have decided to use the $5.00 buy in to build $40.00 roll. and I will use the $40.00 roll to finance ninja style attacks to win three in a row and make another $40.00. I think this is the best plan to make some $$$ than trying to win 6 in a row

edit2: Im going to play 2, $5.00 turbo. that will give me $10.00 of profit to buy into the $10.40. Ill just pay the rake out of pocket and subtract it from the final profit. If I could win four in a row I will have about $38.60 of pure profit to try and do it again. fwiw I won my first one

Only thing that sucks once you get up there (if you lose) there goes all your hard-work, regardless if you only lost your initial investment - time is money.
