.... but not for long. (why is it AAxx never holds on a FT)
GG Seal -
hey:
Davin made a odds related call when i had him dominated and hit.
ul me. gl davin.
thanks for the rail d ;o)

I am a learning PL Omaha on UB's points tables and it seems AAxx is not that strong, is it? I seem to always lose to someone's weak two pair.
Sincerely asking,
Kate -
hey Kate:
I had the two black aces plus the jq clubs and reraised the pot
for more than 40k. In that spot, I believe it was the correct play.
Early on in the tourney I had aces 4 times and flat called and then
folded after the flop all 4 times. I dont think ANY hand is worth a
raise pre flop early on in a plo tourney.
*shameless self promo warning*
I do teach private plo lessons btw ;o)

No, its nowhere as strong as AA in HE.
I was just joking that it never holds when you need it to (esp. not for me!)
As Seal said his opponent had good odds to make the call and a massive stack, so no knocking that at all.
Seal just decided to gamble to get into a stronger position and it didn't pay off. -
thanks to both of you for the information -
always craving knowledge,
kate
