  1. First I would to say please dont say "YES" CR will help tons ....yadda yadda...if you dont have any experience with CR or the level of play im asking information on....

I understand CR helps low and med stakes players...not my interest....

    I have just started playing 10-20 NL ( @ 5-10 NL with ~140k hands played I am 5bb/100 )

I use PT and dont know if im suppose to double that figure? PT is in default settings so any1 know if that 5bb/100 is really 10bb/100??...anyhow I think 5bb/100 is a good number...I may be wrong....

I want to move up a level to 10-20 NL... SO far I played 5800 hands with a 4.2bb/100 win rate...and I think i was running a bit above normal....but the dynamics of the game are different from 5-10NL ...I havent played it long and I already see this...so here's my sincere question....may I get a sincere answer?

Is/has the content on CR at the 10-20NL+ level helped any cash game players overall game/performance? Videos, articles, ect...

If you have personal info on this plz post...

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Definitely. I think that all of Brian Townsend's vids are very useful for 10/20 plus as well as Taylor's recent HU vids. Jman (OMGClayAiken on FTP) also has a really good vid up - although I don't think he is going to be making any more.

I don't see why you would even think twice about joining and watching the vids if you are playing med to high stakes. You always get something out of the vids even if it is just a look into someone else's thought process.
  3. if your running as good as you say you are at the levels you say, than dishing out $25/mo should definetly be worth it for you to check it out... its $25! I mean i play .25/.50 and I dont have issues paying it..

if theres nothing you see that you think is beneficial in the first month or so just cancel... your out a couple big blinds for the games you play...

Also rumor is they are launching a whole new site and upgrades and everything sometim soon, so there should be alot of new features to the site...
  4. if you are playing even medium stakes cash games it makes zero sense not to join CR. i know it sounds like i'm just pimping out my own business but seriously, for what we, or the other training sites charge, it's nothing for someone that plays medium stakes or higher poker.

it's like if you have a 10,000 weight loss bet with a friend but you don't want to join the gym because it costs 40 bucks a month. it's nothing compared to the potential return.

  5. does any1 mind explaining what 5/100 bbs exactly means thanks a lot
  6. The way I see it, if you just learn one thing from CR that allows you to win a decent pot at the level your playing it will easily pay for itself and then some
  7. It's a way to notate win rate at a cash game. 5bb/100 means you are winning 5BB's for every 100 hands played.
  8. thanks guys...i ll join ...it really does make sense

    Thanks for the response GP

  9. sorry to be even dumber...................

    bb = big blinds???????????

    if so 10/20 5 x bb = $100 per 100 hands...yes?

Out of interest how long does 100 hands take.

what would be an ok return 2x BB ?? 5? 10??/

thanks, dont play cash (obv). Just curious.

    andy.
  10. depends on how many tables yer playing or how short handed they are??

most sites deal about 70 hands/hr

  11. In fixed limit BB is big bet so 2/4 limit would have 4 be the BB..I THINK in nl cash that its twice the BB..so if you're playing 2/4 NL then BB is 8..again, I might be wrong
