  3. I agree totally, I think my stars are a little more sexy but your depth is almost unfair, I'd bet large that if you had my draft position you would be winning the league by a lot.
  4. They should be posted, if there is nothing to hide.

What differance would it make except to show respect to the game, Any one with a stable of players should be very open about it or they will always be under suspicion.
  5. eww sorry peace, i see nothing to gain by posting names. There are honest people in this game and those are the only ones that would admit the arrangement if forced, the liars and cheat would never divulge this info.

and if they are honest people it's none of the rest of ours business. I've backed a few, been backed in a few but who i associate with if it's on the up and up is nothing to anyone else.
  6. "i am the type of person that says what many others won't."

I stopped reading thread upon seeing this statement. One of the problems 'round here.

  8. If Wackokidd says Sheets and Bax is on the up and up case closed!! Move on!! Other backers might be shady but I'm with Wacko on this one.
  9. Lol, those guys worked hard to outplay me when I was on their team.

  10. Wow, reading this shit hurts.

Thanks to all the pros who posted here. Obv your opinion trumps the d bag drama bitches in this forum. After all, you all are the ones with experience.

Bax/Sheets = Legit.....you don't build empires like theirs by cheating

  12. I find it hilarious that a decent percentage of online tourney action is generated by guys who can't even roll themselves, and that these guys just FILL the pockets of their backers, while probably grossing less than 6 figures a year-really seems to defeat the purpose of playing tourneys IMO. Get a real job or play cash games if you want your bankroll to grow steadily, play tourneys if you want your roll to swing up and down very quickly. DON'T hump your computer for 15 hours a day so you can give back half of your ROI to some guy who doesn't need it...just my thoughts.
  13. After (trying to) read most of the posts in this thread - I haven't seen anyone bring up the issue of how people who are backed by the same person/group play "differently". Not soft play, not collusion - but simply playing a different style.

I've seen several comments how when two backed players are sitting at the same table, they may actually play more aggressively against each other - almost targetting each other. I'm no poker expert, but this type of activity changes the dynamic for all other players on the table and does influence the play overall. It may not be an advantage - but it does change things.

Now - because most of the top players know each other because they play in the same tournaments all the time - this type of playing style may not be different because they are backed by the same person/group. However - whether intentional or not - there has to be some level of different action/reaction when you are playing against someone who shares a backing.

  16. god this thread is retarded. why do people constantly want to post on issues they know nothing about??

  17. agreed with the post by rollinfish, they take advantage of young kids and scoop half there profits and try to catch these players when they are vulnerable or right when they are goin on heaters.its not a wise decision for a lot of ppl to get backed and a lot of these kids end up in debt to there backers and have trouble making it back to even. (makeup is a bish ive heard) ya its impressive the empire they built but in a way it hurts the online community, making it so any above avg player can get into higher buy ins instead of working there way up making it that much harder for the person who has started low and worked there way up.

  18. Oh those poor disadvantaged kids that either can't afford too, or don't want to spend the money on the big buyin online and live MTT's, let's hold a candle light vigil for those poor SOB's and their risk-free shot's at hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars divided by two-ish.
  19. this thread should have been over 3948394 pages ago. To even begin to question bax or sheet's morals is pathetic. They are two stand up guys who's reputations are as high as it gets in the poker world. Any sort of staking operation i garentee is 100% legit.
  20. i want to be on the team for the Christmas bonus alone!
