  1. Unfortunately, the tournament on Januarty 23 at 10 pm est
will not be allowed to award the right to play as sheets in the freerolls. I had a long discussion with Lee Jones about several things to day and we addressed the following:

    1.Why Bax always sucks out

    2.Why Legggggggy never wins races...

    and

3.Why no one is allowed to play as sheets. While the first 2 items didnt take long, he explained that allowing someone to play as me would certainly blur the line between people having multiple accounts, an issue which caused pokerstars alot of headache during the tlb race in August.

He thought it was an excellent idea for the community, but he would not want anyone to view this as a valid interpretation of the rules, so we agreed that no one would be allowed to play my account for the freerolls.

What I will do is the following:

A.The 9 people at the final table can feel free to send me their hand histories from the protege tournament, and I will do a full analysis of the final table using the pokerxfactor viewer with my audio comments.

B.I will give a 1% freeroll on my play in the borgata wpt 10k event which is taking place next week to the winner of the protege tournament.

So thats the deal, and I thank Lee Jones for being as supportive as he could be while at the same time protecting the integrity of the Poker Stars rules.

ps...I will never reveal the results of the first two issues for any amount of money, but man it was shocking to hear.

  9. Well Sheets went very deep last time at Borgata back in Sept. Unfortunatly I wont be able to sweat u this time E. GL to ya and will by looking to win that 1%
  10. Sheets that aint right tell us y bax sux out im seriously wanting to know how to do it.... lmao
  11. Still an awesome gesture and a great value for 11 bucks! Those freerolls looked extremly juicy, but I understand PS side. They need to add Freeroll TEC chips that are winnable and then transferable and then it would work. I'm still looking forward to it though.

  12. good deal..I'm in
  13. Are there any good players that even bother with the freerolls?

  15. it would be nice if there was a live tournament reporting site that gave updates more focused on internet pros playing in the live events. maybe pocket fives could someday have a live tournament reporter???
  16. Highfidelity, you can definately expect more regular live updates and photos from Card Player on internet pros starting at the Borgota next weekend.

You should see regular updates on many P5'ers who are playing, I can guarantee you... ;)

  17. thanks buddy. nice to see you're looking out for cardplayer's best interests.
  18. I have to withdraw b/c I forgot about dinner plans with my girl tonight out here in the west coast but want to bump this thread in appreciation for the idea.

Would have been cool to play with fellow P5'ers as I'm not in the league yet, good luck to all
  19. Well I think for players that are playing in $100+ buy ins or bigger normally I'd say probably not.

I'm normally only playing $20-50 buy in tournaments (+ the bodog 100k) and even I wouldnt play in the $2500 silver freeroll...in fact the only one that really seems to have much value is the 100k freeroll. I'm thinking the 100k would be the only one the ranked players would even bother playing...although it depends how exclusive the other tournaments are.
