Shocking WPT

    I don't really know what else to say. I have just been kinda shocked by some of the play at this final table. I also thought that Victor would dogg these donks a little easier. It seems like he has a tell of when he is weak he bets or calls really really fast. Seems like these players picked up on this a little bit.

    He is aggressive and they all know this. They caught him a couple of times until he caught them, not really that uncommon right?

    Is this the tourny Sheets "incident" occured?

    I personally am waiting for the episode where they run graphic on bottom of poker terms and tell me what "as we say" truly means

    In a nutshell, Sheets went all in trying to steal the blinds but he did not hear a guy announce all in before he did. Because he said all in and it was binding, he ended up calling the guy with T3 (I think) and got knocked out because he didnt hear a guy say all in before he did.

    i also thought yahtzem played by far the best of all the players at the final table, victor played ok but i thought i would be more impressed.

    I had no idea that was yahtzem.

    but I agree, when I watched I was thinking "this guy plays pretty well, I wonder what his online name is...."

    other than one QQ hand I liked the way he played a lot.

    that QQ call was horrific though but yes he played good and could have easily won. I met Victor in the second year of the WPT, when you would see guys you would say "hey, we are all meeting for dinner at seven" Victor always showed, you will not find a nicer guy than Victor Ramdin. Anyone that knows Victor roots for him, just a great guy and it was good to see one of the good guys get some breaks.

    That other guy played way too slow though, the whole show was like 30 minutes action 1:30 minutes of watching him fold.

    i think the yale kid just had a solid method down....cant discredit him for that, some people play faster/slower than others, im sure there were some nerves in there as welllll

    that guy to victor's left (i forget all their names) played okay, but that guy who took 6th was a total idiot. first just calling with KJ when he was already on a fairly short stack, and check-raising allin on that T high flop. i don't think he "sensed weakness" by any means, i think he just saw two face cards and thought he could get alex to fold because he's pretty solid. for all he knew he was making a bluff against something like ace high or a small pair.

    of course that doesn't even come close to how bad he played the AJo. he has 750k or something and there's 60k in the pot and he jams it. way to guarantee you'll either improve your stack by all of 8% or bust out.

    Alex is plain nasty. I played with him a lot in AC and down here in tourneys and NL cash. He is fearless and it's impossible to get a read on him. He plays an open-ended as aggressivley as a full house. He is pretty emotionless when he plays. Good job.

    Worst play of the night:

    The Larry guy trying to steal the blinds with 86s for a raise of 700k - like half his stack and pot commited to any reraise.. There was like 120k in the pot. Wouldnt a raise of like 200 get him the blinds...
