The table had been pretty tight with calling and this was the first hand i had had for a long time and really needed to triple up. After playing this hand the table commented that i was "lucky" and it was a "bad play". Whats everyones thoughts?

Everybody knows you have to push soon so even if you did preflop, i think you get one caller. So you got a monster and slow played it which is risky with KK but it payed off. I don't think you played it bad......and with the 2nd nut flush draw on the flop it was good. I wouldn't do this unless EXTREMELY short stacked like you were but good hand. don't beat yourself up. I like the play.
What place did you finish??

The only way to play this correctly is to push pre flop.
They were right that you played it bad, but they shouldnt have anything to say putting in chips with OESD's on a 1 suited flop. -
i still managed to bubble, pushed the ss from the sb with A7 and he woke up with QQ. And i was ss again and then pushed with AK and got called by QJ, and J on the river obv. Thanks for the advise, i feel a push would have been right but i thought even if i double up im still ss, i need to go for it.

You're very lucky, i personally say never limp with any monster hand, except for like one situation. I only try it if the table has been aggressive and I expect someone to raise and then I can push, but that usually end up biting me in the ass.

LMAO at the table. You triple up on them and they call you an idiot.
I would normally say you gotta push that preflop if your short... .but in this case you were SOOOO short I actually like the slow play. You HAD to double (or even triple) up on this hand. You are on deaths door. Stealing the blinds was not really going to do you much good. You had to let them hit something and hope your hand held, I like it.
Now if you had been pushing a lot and stealing blinds, I take all that back. If you had been doing that then I say push, you are likely to get a caller anyway.
