  1. Do you fold A5 with 1200 chips left, blinds 50/100, to a raise re-raise? Im in cutoff.
  2. Yes
  3. Thats what I did, they had 99 and AK, flop AXX turn was a 5, meaning I would have won with two pair, but Im guessing this is being results orientated.

  4. Um, I've been in tourneys where I've gone literally hours without ever seeing Ace high. At that position late in the tourney with only 12x BB, it's a coin flip decision. In terms of poker math you are absolutely beat, if you evaluate the situation with some degree of applied math. But!! then there are situations like yours, where your 3 outer would have paid off lovely, but there wa sno way for you to know that. The first tourney I ever won, I had 800 chips with 100BB and I made that call there based on "feel" (really it was tilt and the first time I saw Ace high in 90 min into the tourney) and I won, and won the whole thing eventually.

So in situations like that poker becomes 5% intuition, 75% patience and 20% luck.
