  2. If you mean worked by getting eleven bucks in on a flip then yes it worked fine.
  3. It's not just what you are doing on this hand. It's all depends on the dynamics of how you have been playing. What kind of image have you developed, have you played with this player before, have you been splashing around, been caught bluffiing?

You are both playing on short stacks. What have you seen the opponent doing?

No particular bet with a short stack "should get" the opponent to fold a pair if you have a weak image. If he's a calling station, he doesn't fold.

What about his playing style made you think he'd fold considering your table image?

You were paying attention to the other players and your own projected image, weren't you?
  4. This is pretty straight forward IMO.

With a limper, a min raiser and a caller there's $1.65 in the pot (6+ BBs) up for grabs - not bad in a $.10-.$25 game. "Short stack" is relative based on the stakes. In this case you've still got 44 BBs which means you've got decent fold equity to go with a strong draw. I think if you shove pre, with the action that took place ahead of you, the big blind has to put you on a bigger pair than 66 and fold his hand unless he's a maniac.
