So I've been really really itching to get back into online poker. I've been donking around in freerolls and playiin a weekly live tourney whenever / wherever I can...
My issue has been bankroll management. I've run up numerous low five digit bankrolls from $100 deposits to blow it all out due to poor BR management. Recently, I sat down with a "mentor" like person to me, and the person agreed that they would be the custodian to my account - shipping me funds based on a NLHE MTT schedule that contours my bankroll... This person and I are best friends and there is absolutely zero concern that I'll be ripped off...
So... should I deposit $2200 and start at the level I'd find adequately "challenging / worth pursuing" ($20), or fire out a series of smaller deposits until I get to that level, then get the help of my custodian?? -
I find it hard to believe you had numerous 5 figure rolls from a $100 deposit, that being said deposit $2200 and run it up to 100k since thats what u do

Numerous times = 3 times over the past 5 years. My biggest roll was 11k. I've made at least one hundred different $100 deposits over the past 5 years, with the highest being $750.

You've put at least $10k online (more since not every 100 deposit was for $100 exactly). I'm trying to figure out, are you a winning player? Sounds like your a lifetime losing player here, and a pretty big loser.
If you don't have disipline, you'll lose your bankroll no matter how much it is. So, how fast do you want to lose it? Super fast, go and deposit a few grand online (for added fun, why not put it on a no name site that might not pay you even if you win).
Real advice, if anyone needed to do this, it might be you. I think you'd be perfect for the Furgeson challenge. Put nothing on, and win your money via a freeroll. After going through months of this (and very low level playing), to grind yourself your $100, maybe you'll have some respect for it, and not want to blow it on a game worthy of your skill so quickly.
