I bought into the $640 150 Seat Main Event being played today about a week ago. I come home and try to log on to my account at 5:30 PM est. I CAN'T!! For the next 3 hours I watch as I get blinded off and I still can't log on to my account. I have never had this problem before. Imust have sent FTP 10 emails, and of course, NO response. Finally I am down to 1,325 in chips, watching my table and all of sudden I am logged back in. WTF?? The first hand I see is A10s and naturally I push and get called by A5 off. I lose(naturally).
I believe that I am entitled to a full refund. Did it hurt that I played that 1 hand? Just feel like I am getting screwed by Full Tilt and I have still not heard anything back from them. -
def shouldnt have played that hand, would have helped out your case. either way i would want a refund if i was in your shoes, especially if you had logged several failed log in attempts, and it was on their record. doubt they give it though
-
You should 100% get a full refund. I'm not at all confident that that's what Full Tilt will do though. A lot also depends on why you couldn't log in and what info they have logged for the login requests.
-
Yea it prolly just depends on the reasoning behind you not being able to log in. If it was their software, def should get a refund. If it was your computer or your connection, you're just very unlucky and you'll prolly get told to gfy. Good luck tho.
-
I can definitely see them saying since you got in and played a hand, you get nothing. You would have been way better off getting blinded completely out and pleading your case, than you will be since you actually got in and got to play, albeit only for a hand.

easy answer is the same as the guy above me... if you/your computer were the problem.. like capslock or something when entering your password, or your connection sucks, then no refund... but if full tilt's server was down then you should get a refund, although it seems highly unlikely that the server would block you out exclusively and let everyone else play? doesnt look good, but if it was full tilts fault im sure you will get a refund.. so just pray they messed up

It's up to them to refund you the money if they did not allow you access to the game.

You playing a hand doesn't change this because you were unaware of what they intended to do to resolve this.
In addition, it's up to them to respond to any email titled URGENT in the subject line in time to handle your problem.
Yes, you are entitled to the full buyin. At the very least you are entitled to the buyin minus the equity of your chips when you started playing. -
Can you prove you were attempting to log in and failed? if all the failed attempts are in your login history, then you can prove to them you were ewatching yourself blind down.

Yes, I can prove that I attempted to log in. From 5:30pm to 8:30pm, I tried to log in 99 times.

So Full Tilt finally got back to me and they did refund my account the full $640. The reason they gave was that my account "might" have been linked to another account under suspicion. Have no idea what thats about since I play small and am 100% on the up and up. Thanks for all your advice and GL.
