I'll give the results and my reasoning after some replies. Thanks
  2. This is a spot I often have problems with and I think it's player dependant. I will never call here so it's either push or fold for me. Against a typical 4.40 player I'm probably shoving. If he's a 4.40 grinder playing 10-12% of hands then I'm probably folding. Based on his OPR numbers though (-55% ROI) I'm probably shoving.

What kind've player was he? Loose? Tight? Aggressive? PAssive?

  3. He was a pretty loose player and i figured that his calling range was about the same as his raising range which i put at something like A8+, KJ+, 77+. I shoved, he called with AJ and i held. Afterward tho I was thinking about it, and it seemed somewhat marginal and wanted to kno what otehrs thought.

  4. I'm shoving here all day, and I'm shoving worse hands than AQ.

And his calling range is a lot tighter than you think. He doesn't have the chip stack to afford making a call with A8 or KJ.

And your play is anything but marginal. When he folds, you increase your chips stack by 30%. When he calls and you win, you're in fantastic shape.
  5. You've got the perfect stack to shove against this guy. Resteal here with a lot worse than AQ if you haven't been overly active recently to the point that they will spite call you.
