  1. Happened last nite so i dont have the HH but the re-creation is damn close.

Situation: Satellite to the Sunday Million, top 2 get seats.

    Seat 1: Villian 1 $7950
    Seat 2: Villian 2 $3100
    Seat 3: Hero $3950

    Hero (Qx, Qx)

    Hero post SB 200

    Villian 1 posts BB 400

Villian 2 shoves all in for 3950

Now im obviously not folding. I instantly shoved here and this is where i think i may have made a small mistake. After i shoved, villian 1 time banked it and ended up folding. Should I have flat called here to keep villian 1 in so that there is a better chance of knocking out villian 2? Obv if i flat, he calls, and i try checking down and the guy who had me covered pushes, i dont see how i can fold -since even if he has the nuts i still get a seat cause i had villian 2 covered. i dunno, confusing myself now.

basically, should i just flat call leaving the 850?
  2. Even if you just flat called, it would still make Villain 1 time bank and fold. It's not an 850 chip decision for Villain 1. He's not going to call down for 850 less. Since it would only make sense to put the other 850 in post flop. He decided not to commit pre-flop so 850 fewer chips wouldn't sway the decision too much.

With that said, even if it is a satty, you are quite a bit ahead of his range 3-handed. QQ is a monster, but I bet you ran into a hand like A-K, A-Q, A-J or somewhere along those lines and the A came right?

You have to play QQ like that. This would not have played out any differently really.

BTW: Villain shoved for 3100, not 3950.
  3. Im just wondering if a flat call might induce the big stack to call. i know its only 850 on top, but to him he could look at it in terms of his stack-meaning a call would still leave him 4k. id be more than willing to check down just about anything.
