  1. with 10-15BB in early or middle positions... what are your shoving ranges... I have played this game for a while and probably should know this but I feel like I am shoving too light of hands..... thanks
  2. Alot of that depends on the dynamics of the game (pre ante or post ante, effective stacks behind you, tournament structure, etc.). Do you have a particular hand you can post? I know this isn't the answer you were looking for but can you be a little more specific? Personally I'm jamming a 10bb stack lighter than I am a 15bb stack as well. That's just me. I am terrible so take my advice fwiw.
  3. I understand that there is alot more that plays into the decision .... but I was kind of hoping for more of a general answer.... i'll throw this hand in just to spark kind of what I am talking about....

  4. your in too early of a position in my oppinion son, fold a wait for a better spot... if i had that in the CO or button or SB and it folds to me, i probs shove, but other that that i fold
  5. Please don't just look at what you would do in that specific hand above.... but explain what hands you would shove there and what hands you would shove with that stack size...... the more in depth answer the better...

    thanks again

  6. I am working on my ranges as well. I just started back playing myself. There is already 12k in the pot and thats right at the bottom of my range. It's close in my opinion. My range would be 22+, A10+, KJ+. I'd like to see some responses from better and more qualified players.
  7. 22+ A2s+ ATo+ K9s+ KJo+ Q9s+ QJo J9s+ T9s

that's what you should be shoving. Get a pf chart...you'll know it off by heart once you use it enough.

There's a big difference from 10-15bb and diff positions too

  8. UTG+3 24.9%, 22+ A2s+ A7o+ A5o K8s+ KTo+ Q9s+ QJo J8s+ T8s+ 98s 87s
    UTG+2 20.7%, 22+ A2s+ A9o+ K9s+ KJo+ Q9s+ QJo J8s+ T8s+ 98s

tip: the new beta on holdemresource can give you exact ranges 2 seconds after a hand is finished. amazing for reviewing shoves and non-shoves right away.(you need a hud database for it to work)
