    ok so i just chopped the 24k on ftp... the payouts were...

    1) 22282
    2) 14094
    3) 10467

    my chip stack was 1,750,000 second place was 1.5 and third was 1.2 million..

    we did a straight icm chop for...

    1) 16321
    2) 15709
    3) 14813

    I would say i had a slight edge on remaining 2 players but they were both very competent... to be honest i was perfectly fine with chopping since ive been chasing this 5 figure cash for so long but right now im kinda hating myself for settling for a chop... and the money difference to me was significant but not something that was gonna make or break me....should i be asking for more than icm if i have a slight chip lead or is icm pretty fair when skill levels are similar>? also feel free to give your opinions about chopping

    meh it's anyone's game with those stacks, if you feel like you were that much better i guess don't chop but the 26's are a crapshoot so not too bad, nice score

    you didn't give what the BB was so we don't know how deep you were at the time. But, especially since you said the money mattered.. you locked up better than 2d place money with no risk and made a nice score.

    and yes, with pretty similar stacks and skill levels, getting the ICM number is pretty fair. It already factors in your CL. Nothing prevents you from asking for more though and seeing if you can get it. Worst case they say no. Best case they are so afraid of not taking a deal they give you more. But again, not knowing the BB at teh time I can't tell how diff those stacks really are.


    Meh. be happy! (and cash it out...don't blow it on cash games!) well done!

    Trust me, ive leanred my lessons about bringing winnings to cash games. 1k monday has always seemed like a good time tho.........

    wasnt a 26 it was a 69 + 6 and ttl prize pool went over 100k, and many of the greats showed up making this even more of an accomplishment, well done sir
