This is basically for all my chips, it was 50/50 to me that i was ahead, I think he could easily have had 10 10, 66, or even a10, i decided to pass and pick a better spot, makes me frustrated, but was it a smart move?
  2. I don't like your bet size pre and I don't like your fold on the flop. He's losing tons of value if he hits that flop big and shoves it. I think draws are a pretty big part of his range. If you're playing to win, you're not passing up on this spot, especially with about 25k already in the pot.
  3. [] sick fold

I mean you hardly see these folds anymore. Real poker ITT. All you see these days is shove after shove, over-call after another. When you're beat, you're beat.

  5. Obviously your pre sizing sucks, but I think fold flop is OK. I would like check how the villain has been playing previous hands if hes been a maniac I'd call, but if hes been decently tight then fold mite have been good.
  6. Well, turns out I made the right decision there. I ended up moving on and getting to the final table, where I ran pretty good and finished 3'rd for like 200 bucks (lost with the sb shoving on my a6 suited, i snap called as he's been doing this each time, he showed a4 and hit a 4 of course). But turns out the guy who made that shove also made the final table, and after he got knocked out (6th place i think) he told me that he had A6 on that a10 6 flop. So all and all I made the right decision, just had a bad feeling about his move there, and I also knew I could pick a better spot. Thanks for the feedback from everyone anyway, and good luck out there!

The thing is you might not be beat. It is called the stop and go. You have a pocket pair and call, but then even if you miss, you go all in trying to represent the ace. I see top pros make this play all the time so I think you have to call here.

I'm familiar with this sufisticated play, but can you really excpect someone doing it in $3 game. I mean you make solid posts from time to time but here you´re wrong 95% of the time.
