I would raise and try to get it all in on the turn. If he shows up w/ AJ ul. I am never folding this hand against an unknown player in this spot.

Snap call river. When he check/raised the flop obv only A6 beats you. I think most likely he has AK/AQ and he was eager to get his stack in. You should have been more eager to get your chips in the middle, since you probably had the best hand.
EDIT: Just noticed the 4 Ds on board, definitely snap call river, AxKd is a huge part of his range. -

i think on the flop, i wanted to keep his entire range in. On the turn i would have raised if not for the flush hitting so raising was only pushing out hands i beat, on the river his overbet just doesn't make sense without a boat since i can rep a flush or aj so easily.
Maybe I got bluffed out by axkd, but i see the range on the river to lean more towards the boats -
