  1. This hand was right after the bubble had broken in the 200rebuy. Sowerss is an insanely aggro player, for this reason I do not think this is an easy fold but I am wondering what you guys think. The sick thing about this hand is that I was sure he was shoving me before I had even entered in the raise. So with that said my question is 1) do you even raise pre 2)if you do as I did, do you consider calling??

  2. A HUGGEEE factor in this decision is when the blinds go up, when did they go up?
  3. just fold.
  4. i dont raelly have a problem with a call here....and u had feeling he was gonna shove on u + youre not actually gonna just straight fold KJ here

i know he plays real loose but i really cant say i can assign him an accurate range, can u chiefs?

  5. Raise button then fold> Limp button> Raise button then call shove

  6. I've made calls like this many times b4, esp in a tourney such as this. A big factor is when the blinds go up b/c the level jump on stars (next level is 1500/3k) is a huge. I'd say if ur less than 5 mins from the jump, it may be a good time to gamb0l.

  7. FOLD Chiefs Fold :)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
  8. oops....thought it was sb/bb....i fold as played majority of the time

  9. thanks for the replies guys. after the hand I was very pissed at myself bc I made the call, he had A9 and he held. I still could not decide if the call was even marginally good so I was looking for advice. I have started to just fold my button the majority of the time bc it is everyones fav. play to just shove the button raise with ne thing and you end up gambling way too often. after I posted the hand I saw Sowerss make this play which makes me think I acurately assessed the situation. After Belows post I think I like the idea of limping my button here. This will frequently free the blinds from just shoving. NE way here is the hand that happened like 5 minutes after I made the OP.

About 20 minutes after this he 4bet with 57s to go out of the tourney. Im not criticizing Sowerss or his play at all, just trying to say that I think I had a good idea of how wide his range was and the call was atleast decent if not good
