This was a very bad resteal.
- It's 11480 to call.
- The pot will be 37885 once he calls.
- Since 11480/37885 is 30%, he only needs to win 30% of the time in order to make this call.
He is not going to fold anything here. He "knows" you have a big hand, and still has odds to call.
In order to try to shove here, you have to be ahead of his range. You need to have, and ALSO for your opponent to have, in most cases, at least 5x (but recommended no more than 7 unless you are both huge stacks) times the size of his raise in order to try a resteal here.
