obv. no pro here but u dont' think 2 pair would r/r turn there? personally put him on KQ or Q10. but i dunno
-
I bet/call the river. I just don't see too many hands he'll limp on the button with that beats your straight. His range includes trips/missed draws so I really don't see myself folding there.
-
check/call river
-
I like check/call also, but as played i fold
-
what was the end result?
-
im gonna guess pocket 8s.

RESULTS?
-
explain how bet fold is best please.
-
Everyone in the check/fold or check/call camp (nearly everyone that's not me):
Don't you think you're missing out on quite a bit of value on a relatively safe board with a strong hand? -
lmao
..i wasnt even thinking about the irony.
oh lol im a loser. -
please bet more on the turn, too many draws out there
ipwntable -
my reasoning for check calling is that any hand with a queen is going to bet, and if you bet they won't raise unless they have a boat.
then, any hand with a jack won't (shouldn't) call a river bet, but might throw out a small value bet thinking you have J8 or another counterfit 2 pair -
Looshle has it here everytime.
-
His range here is probably very small. It's basically QJ, T9, and a small chance of a missed draw. I guess 88 or KQ might be possible, but wouldn't he raise pre with those?
-
the more i think about it, T9 almost makes the most sense...but that'd probably be a bad shove on that river...idk

whoever says looshle is never bluffing here obv has not played very much with him... Though he is a friend and a very good player he could have lots of hands including T9... I believe charder is correct in saying that b/f is the best line there is also a case for a check call... I dont think he has 88 here and am pretty sure he showed you QJ if u called but i certainly wouldnt rule out T9s and trying to blow u off same hand... results?
