What does it mean when you are a 2 to 1 dog? I really don't get what it means. Anyone with a simple explanation would be greatly appreciated. This is not a level either.
Also, do you guys CB bet the flop everytime you raise preflop? I seem to feel that move has been costing me alot of money recently.
Thanks! -
2:1 means they have 2 chances to win to your every 1 chance. AKA they are 66.7% to win the hand to your 33.3%
and it depends on how many opponents are in the pot with you...flop texture etc. there is no answer to this question. -
I likes CBs and Dogs!

Ship is right. If you're a 2 to 1 favourite your hand has a 66.66% chance of winning....3 to 1 would be 75% etc.
C-betting really depends on lots of factors, flop texture, opponents tendencies, your hand strength, stack sizes etc. -
2:1 im sure has been answered. I c-bet about 90% of the time but if u got JJ, raised pf and the flop is AAK and 2 people called ur raise, you c-bet is usually just padding their stack.
Even simpler question...what is meant by "level" every time someone posts a stupid (no offense op) question? -
Probably a long overdue thread needed for 'simple' questions that are asked, but not so simple if your newer to the game/site.
2-1 been answered
cbet: I actually asked a question about this that got tons of responses, but this was likely 6-7 months ago. As a general rule, I cbet, hit or miss. About the only time I don't is when I raised to set up a certain situation, and I didn't get it. Take this
Early on, I have AK, raise up 3x, get 4 callers (wanted 1 or so). Flop 8-9-10, 2 diamonds. I don't have any diamonds, this is an ugly flop early, and I have to think I'm behind. Instead of bluffing at this, and getting a call I don't want (or worse, a raise), I'll just check it and I'll fold to a bet. But, it takes a situation like this to get me to avoid my cbet.
For a level, it's basically another word for a joke (at least that's what I think). It means the person is making up the situation for laughs. An example.
Well known poster X makes a post saying his chat is banned because his dog jumped on the keyboard, and happened to spell out some 4 letter words. It isn't true, but you might chuckle. It's a level.
