what about "OnTheRize" who finished 19th place for 32,228.50 who is going to get that money? its not a big secret that its JC Tran account also, its pretty much a given when you check the stats of both accounts area23jc/OnTheRize that they are they same person, I emailed stars about this during the tourny, I got the normal --> Thank you for your email.
The pokerstars policy on players with multiple accounts is very
straightforward. Players are permitted one account only. We believe
that players with more than one account compromise the integrity of
our games.
It is our policy not to comment to third parties about the accounts of
other users, but we welcome reports such as these. They help us
maintain our high standards for game integrity. Please rest assured
that we will examine these accounts, and if they do belong to the same
person then the matter will be handled in a manner appropriate to our
policies.
Thank you for the report, and thank you for choosing PokerStars!

Maurizio

but it looks to me as if nothing was done, if something was done who got the 32k? could stars have told him "look you cant play the same tourny under multiple accounts so we are not going to pay you 32k for your 19th place finish" and just kept the money? you can look at the low amount of tournys played on both accounts and how many of the same tournys where played under both accounts and know its the same person from the same city, I have heard numerous big time online players say its JC, so did he get to keep the money? if not who got it? -
and why was the city named changed on the lobby after the tourny? OnTheRize city name during the tourny said natomas and now you pull the lobby it says SC, JC Tran is from sacramento and natomas is a county in sacremento, but I am pretty sure when you play a tourny that the city name that you show during the tourny stays there even if you change your city name after the tourny, only the future tournys should show you new city and the lobby of old tournys show your previous city, am I wrong on that? or after he got 19th for 32k he had to change his city name to have a check sent, since he is going to play no more tournys on stars anyway, look at his stats since the main event niether account has played a tourny, surely if you could win 32k playing a tourny and your not JC Tran wouldn't you want to play another one? cmon stars you have to know both accounts are JC Trans.........
-
jealous? not at all. Fed up with the cheating? yea cause this is getting ridiculous and outta hand, why do you care if JC Tran gets ratted out? I guess you want to try to bust him a couple times in the same tourny so you can say I knocked JC Tran out of the same tourny twice? or do you two hang out together and your just looking out for your buddy?
-
SN8, i love you, but are you having a bad day?
-
I dont even know whats going on in this thread. Did both of those accounts play the Main Event? Do you know that both of those accounts are his? I just dont see much sense of making this thread unless the answer to both of my questions are yes.
-
just tired of all these old nits snooping in on pokerstars' business and trying to create controversy.
-
everytime i see you post, you sound like a giant sized dickhead. just for the record..........
why can he not question the fact that jc tran played on two accounts in this tourney? if jc did it this year, then he probably did it last year as well, and took home over 600k because of it. do you think that the rest of the 2006 final table would be interested in knowing that? PROBABLY.
dont be such a prick -
yea, your right, I have to quit blaming jc tran for multi accounting tournaments for the reason I am not winning, how did you know that I emailed stars and said "look I am not beating these 10 single table tournys and these low limit multis cause jc tran is multi accounting the 2600 buy in main event, if you could please only allow jc tran to play on 1 account in the 2600 buy in so I can final table the 5R tourny, thanks in advance stars."
-
people are always looking for excuses as to why they are not winning and they want to see a bunch of cheaters so they can say....oh he won becasue he cheated, thats the only reason he won......no its because he is way better than you and doesnt spend all his time making bs posts like this.
yes i understand that it should not be tolerated, but calling out one person when you have zero evidence is not doing anything but wasting everyones time. -
Even if you're right and that person played 2 accounts, so what? Probably the only players in that tourney playing just 1 account were the members of team pokerstars. Goes to show how good Vanessa Rousso is to get that far, considering she gets flamed on this forum.

I have no idea about any of these allegations but I am shocked by SN8WMANs laissez-faire attitude. If it werent for the people being the eyes and ears for other sites, do you think that the AP scandal would have ever come to the publics eye?

-
referring obv to this kidfromokc
-
then let's all unite get rid of the cheaters then he won't have anymore excuses and neither will i :)
-
well now he is bumped up to 18th so he gets even more money. Take that.
-
wow, if the guy who got 19th gets DQ'd, i'd move up two spots to 18th for about a 9k pay increase if i remember right :)
