My opponent was sitting out in the $15 HU. I waited a minute and then started stealing his blinds. He then showed up when I had stolen about 1800 of his original stack. Scumbag move? If so how long do you wait till its ok to steal his blinds.
-
The minute the match started i wouldve been quickly clicking the raise button every hand.
-
he is charging me my time. the fee for my time is his blinds.
-
Take what you can... they will do it to you
-
being polite and waiting is a common courtesy......but you'll never find it at the poker table. steal his blinds ASAP....its your money at stake!
he would DEF do it to you -
What about if its a disconnect??? thoughts on that?
-
The tournie lobby has the start time posted. Not your fault he is unaware, not concerned? Steal the chips as you wish. His/her fault, not yours.
-
take all his blinds you can, then when he gets back if he's a dick about it laugh at him, on the other hand if he's cool about it send him back all his blinds by bet/folding whatever you took.
-
I'd say just take em....
-
mine was never at the table, took me about 10 mins, if he would have been there and got disconnected, i would have waited
-
LOL - did he comment?
-
Take 'em without a drop of guilt. And if s/he complains, remind them it's their responsibility, not yours. If it's a disconnect the site will tell you. Once the extra time has expired then too bad... having a backup plan is their responsibility, not yours.
-
Mine never turned up either. I immediately started raise-stealing. I think you have to at the low stakes, the high stakes guys tend to have a kind of gentlemans agreement about that sort of thing but at low stakes where most people are losing players, you have to take whatever you can imo. Plus it was kind of a bit of revenge because i fell asleep at the break in yesterdays $33 event with a top 100 stack and less than 700 remaining lol.
