you are 100% wrong.. not that I would know anything
-
yeah dude really i have a 5mil badge and the guy above has a 3mil badge, we're both saying you need to follow the advice in this thread
respect the experience dude -
True. Also, he has a shot at steamrolling guys who are playing stakes where the money matters to them. As long as he doesn't run into some trappy dude with a set.. and can lay down to resistance (like repops) that style will work as long as he table hops. If he sat at the same table for hours he'd eventually get figure dout and stacked by any decent player for the stakes he is at who was observing the game play.

If he could channel his healthy disrespect for money into playing a bit tighter / switching it upo once in a while where his only move wasn't the piledriver (pot bet), pot bet, pot bet) I think he could actually make some money.
cliffs: At any limits he's screwed once the players figure him out and he doesn't hit and run at that point. -
i'm kinda sad to see that you guys rallied vs him to stack him off. That will teach him a lesson yes, but I think it's not fair to him to lose his BR vs sharks.
-
WOW, awesome level thread. Well played OP.
-
yeah I agree. It's just that the guy comes to post on this forum therefore his style of play is discussed on the boards.
Anyways, not a big deal since he can make a 100 bucks/ hour on bodog lol -

I think i was the first to discuss his style of play... and it was intended as genuine advice on how NOT to play. He had posted in another thread about whether calling with Q7off was too loose and was looking for hand range charts. He asked for advice. He got a lot of feedback from everyone from OT posters to GreenPlastic.... and yet he insisted everyone else was wrong. He took it as a challenge to his manhod or something.
I don't think anyone sat with the kid to be mean... but if dropping his $25 stars roll is what happened, it will be the most valuable poker lesson the kid ever got, for the cheapest price. (If he takes the time to think about it.)
In the meantime he has his bodog profit if he didn't blow it, and you can't do a player search over there. So if he cools his jets for a few days and doesn't go out of his way to tell us what table he's at, I think he'll be left alone.
Edit: and fwiw, the line to sit with him was at 2cent 5cent. If that is gonna bankrupt him..... -
this thread is awesome to start off my sunday
-
on a side note, im not playing poker anymore... i just went to the convenience store at 10:37am and bought $20 worth of scratch off lottery tickets. I scratched them by 10:40, and had won $55 in profit. I realized I can make $1100/hour playing scratch off lottery, so I think I'm just gonna do that for a living. Fk all you haters.

u keep saying u made 5 mil, and u have a 5 mill badge.... but where r ur scores and badge? is this a double post level? or r u legit tryna convince people u made 5mil on earnings? im lost -
update. just felted by an almost all p5 player table... at .02/.05.
I read this thread and enjoyed waiting to see him fail. NOT A GANG BANG to prove home wrong. Did any one dropped in stakes to take him down? What does it prove that he thought he had a style that worked at this level. He clearly is amazing that he can't see all the great advice from u all.
But he will not learn from this experience because he feels ur better #1. And u all sat with him knowing his style with no real history of him.
To OP I hope u understand if your 1 tabling u still will get figured out by the solid to good regs at whatever lvl. Your style seems to work but learn to adjust it a little so u can play more tables and your hourly will increase. Also just because a style works once doesn't mean it works for ever. You have this one move that works. Learn to use it at right time and mix in some other moves to increase balance. Hit and run if that's your style keep it. Just don't fail to improve other parts of your game so your not trapped, By solid players.
Cliff notes. I call BS on anyone that hunted him down by dropping levels.
And I must be more retarded then OP because I have learn from this thread advice not wanted by op. -
i never play cash games, and i dont even know where i would start. so me jumping in a .02/.05 with $12.50 seems like an ok option since thats the level of tourney im rolled for. but his play was at the level of a retarded aggressive noob at the .02/.05 game... nothing special.

Shallowcal. I call bs only if ppl dropped lvls to felt him. NOW slowrolling a joint is cool I guess if that's your thing.
-
lol i never slowroll, but that one had to be done.
Edited By: shallowcal Feb 13th, 2011 at 06:26 PM
even minraised him back just so he could shove over top leaving me the slowroll opportunity. -
Edited By: ImaBustYou Feb 13th, 2011 at 07:15 PMWell, well, well...I just read this whole thread and it sure is A+!!! I love how OP comes off as such a pompus jerkoff who spews arrogance and lacks common sense. OP really is oblivious and got what he deserved when good/competant players sat down with him to prove that he is very low on the poker food chain. If he did not spew so much ignorance, he wouldn't have had to deal with the "sharks" as he put it.Originally Posted by sixslow

and i remain defense because at 20 tables there is no way you can be playing your opponents, at that point ur only playing cards
OP...I ask you this: How would you know if someone who plays 20+ tables does not get reads and only plays their cards??? You have never done it (nor have I), and noone in your circle has. SO take a look at this thread that has VIDEO PROOF of 20+ tabling .50/1 cash on stars. This is what the best do or what green plastic was trying to explain

To op: become a humble person! You do not know everything.
edit: oh, and all of this

This thread was awesome. I used to think I was the shit...until I started playing a lot.
-
I used to think I was the shit too when I first started playing cash at 18yo on Bodog. Gotta say that playing vs. the competition at Bodog will def unrealistically/overly boost one's poker ego.
-
I already responded to this. I did NOT angrily stalk this guy. I didn't call him out.

I sat with the guy on bodog to see how he played and I lost a couple buyins, big whoop. Then I gave him some solid advice. I commented on the other table play with amusement, just like everyone else amused at his complete hubris in the the face of advice from a LOT of players that are way above his level.
Sure, I wished the worst on 150bucks in te other thread. I'm not gonna complain about getting flak for that. But if you read carefully, I gave the kid some advice. DIdn't hate on him one time. In fact, it was the reverse- that kid called me a douche at least 5 times. If asking the kid t otell me whta table he is playing at is angry, well then i have no clue what my emotions are.
And if you think its some sorta crime to want to play with a guy that doesn't have a clue...at limits that you play yourself (I played 25NL on dog...) then you should quit poker. That's not angry stalking, that's smart table selection.
I wonder sometimes if people really read closely or just like to jump on bandwagons. -
i do find it odd 150bucks hasnt played any MTTs since he won the DD
-
I'm still waiting for the other 43% of the video to be uploaded to youtube.
But seriously, Green Plastic gives you advice and you're like "meh, I can do better"? WTF? -
play a lot of black jack, then play some high stakes nl
