  1. The slow play in PS SNG's has finally driven me over the edge. I used to enjoy sitting down to $22 or $11 single tables, but the slow play has totally changed the game and taken the enjoyment (and much of the profit) out of it for me. Last night was a good example. I forced myself to play four tables and just quit. Every table had several players who were obviously playing more games than they could keep up with. As a result, every table reached the 100/200 level with eight or nine left. At that point it was an all-in fest. If anyone else has been driven away from SNG's by this, what have you moved to? I don't want to give up on on-line poker because there are no casinos in my area, but I need to find a form that is enjoyable to me.

Thank you for your input and please don't hijack the thread by telling me how many tables you play and how fast you are. I know you are a great player, but everyone else isn't necessarily so.
  2. if everyone is that tight (or missng hands - not sure which you mean) wouldn't opening a lot wider be a good counter-measure?

or are you saying that each player action took it so long fewer hands are getting played and so the blinds are effectively jumping faster...

  3. I find this problem too, but seems to be pokerstars specific.. On other sites this does not seem to be a problem

  5. Probably the big volume of guys playing +8 tables , can be extremely frustrating when you want to play a few quick tubos and couple of the players are clocking every hand

  6. I used to notice people playing slow as well when I only played 4 tables. Solution: I started to play 12-24 tables at a time every session and you don't ever notice the slow play. I suggest learning to play more tables, for serious.

That doesn't increase the number of hands per blind level. It just means I am playing as slowly as everyone else :)
