to slowplay or not to slowplay

    you played it fine and got burned, you're probably not going to get any action on that flop so you checked the nut hand hoping someone would catch up
    he made a set on the turn and you got him allin while you were still ahead, nice hand

    NO.

    You played it fine. I'm surprised you actually got that much action on the flop. You don't really have to worry about anything but the board pairing, which inconvientently happened after all the money was already in. Why play it fast on the flop? This is just one unlucky situation.

    the guy with 5,5 is a maniac though.

    I, on the other hand, would have bet knowing how he would hit a set on the turn and a boat on the river
