This is the daily $60 $3,500 guaranteed. 27 left out of 76 runners. 10 pay. plays 150-300 ante 25
I have been pretty active just doubled up then took down a couple of pots pre with no fight.
UTG+1 I have 33 and a 30BB stack, stacks behind range from 15-40 BBs, the BB having the 15 BBs.
People behind consists of at least 3 regulars including 6bet42off, grundlehair, and oojoe24oo.
I know I am raising 77+, but should we be raising or folding with 22-66? -
Personally I would fold if you have been active and your 30bb stack is going to make it awkward preflop oop vs solid regs such as grundlehair and 6bet42off. If your image had been tight I think u could get away with raising prelflop and then firing with a cbet on the flop if you get heads up if the flop doesn't to come to wet. I do see a lot of regs raising random suited trash hands in ep trying to rep a big hand based on being in ep but with 30bb I think it is going to be to spewy to raise in ep in this spot. I am curious to here some other opinions on this hand compared to what my opinion is on this hand.

Personally I have been folding in marginal spots like these with small pp's from EP. You are going to get shoved on by <20 bb stacks and flatted by the solid regs you mentioned too often making it very difficult to play post-flop when u don't hit your set. Also like kevmode mentioned, you have been pretty active lately so you won't get as much credit for an EP raise as u'd like. I like folding.

I like a fold slightly better than raising here. If you are super confident with your postflop play then raise but most often you are gonna be in a very awk spot OOP. Fold is prob more +EV with this stack size long run.
-
OK that's the route I took and pretty much the same reasoning for doing that. Probably one of my biggest flaws is figuring out when to stop raisin the small PP's later in the tourney.

Open Muck...Kevmode's reasoning are the main reasons why I fold here. With regs like Grundlehair and 62o ep, who will be 3b the bottom of their range alot of times here pre and are solid post flop EP players, unless you flop a set, it could get spewy oop. Im open mucking 7s and under here with your stack...

Even if you had a normal image I would probably say fold here, and in this case, especially with your weak image and BB being short, its a fold here imo.

Why is limping not ever a option here? Reason thinking is a limp looks pretty strong from utg and I think it tightens up the opening range for "most" players that think well. And it's a cheap way to try and see a flop relatively cheap. I personally like the fold here but depending on the table.
it's either open 2.5 fold or limp I think both of them show the same strength opening or limping imo. Would gladly like to hear thought from everyone tho -

Sounds like a scenario to limp fold or limp/call a raise oop, which is a losing recipe. That's why...
