This hand took place close to the money bubble of the UB $130 buy in.
Looking back I am wondering if shoving preflop would have been the best line.
As played I know it was bad, but when he called my cbet on such a scary board
I put him on an underpair and thought I had a good shot to win if i shoved. I really thought a Q, or overpair would reraise to protect his hand.
I think Will made a good call and would love some insight as to how he did it
so I can make the same type of calls in the future.
I think this hand reveals some leaks in my game that I need to fix before i can be succesful at higher buy ins.
How would you have played this hand?

You lost a race. Welcome to online poker its the only thing that separates the good players from the "great players"
-
I think he was looking for insight on ppl calling with middle pair not losing a race.

this seems like a really tough spot when u look further into it....first off u cant fold here...i mean ur in the CO and its folded to u so its not like u have many players left to act and folding 66 here is just way to nitty....i like the preflop raise to about 2.5. when the button flats u cant really define his range to well here. i mean he could have flatted with AA here looking to enduce a squeeze out of one of the blinds considering that jnaili only has 8bbs neways if he shoves and u flat the shove he can push if he indeed does have a monster so his range is SUPER wide here. the flop is really dangerous and u obv cant like ur 66 here. i really dont think a cbet here is profitable. he flats here with a lot of hands that hit that...im thinking 55+,J10s+ and obv AJ+...while some of these hands u may get to fold (ie 55-99) i dont see any other part of his range just folding to a c bet here.as played, i would shut down on the turn bc he isnt calling there with nothing and the 8 isnt helping u unless u opened with j9 and i dont think u would. having said that, if he was ahead on the flop, hes till ahead and according to his call, he knows this so i def shut down here. looking back on the hand, i dont know how much i like his call of ur pot size shove on the turn neways. there are a ton of hands that are in ur range that have him killed and if not killed, u have a lot of outs. maybe he had somekind of read on u, or was willing to risk the 16k in order to get a huge stack on the bubble to bully every1, considering he would still have 14k behind if he was wrong which is about 15bbs so he still has resteal equity.

Thanks for the responses.
Giving up on flop makes alot of sense once I see texture of board.
At the time I said that's a fun flop for me, and just watched my hand instruct the mouse to bet.
In the heat of the moment finding a disconnect from my emotions that are all screaming bet bet bet is a constant struggle for me. -
I disagree. As much as I would hate to fold in the CO, you only have an M of ~8. You should not be playing these types of hands when you're in this zone.
Secondly, how was this a "fun" flop for you? Very confused as I would find this a very frustrating flop. -
folding preFlop is bad, because it is +EV to Push! But is 2.5x raising more profitable, tough to say and it depends on how the players at your table play.
as played in this hand i would c/f the turn, it looks like you're getting trapped by a monster regardless of the result. He is almost always raising any draw in that spot on the flop, so he is almost always ahead of you and rarely folding the turn. -
could an unopened CO ever be a fold for 66 in this stage of the tourney? i dont see how.

Yeah I'm really good at telling the little voice inside my head "Fuck you little voice...you can't tell me what to do!!!" SHOOOOOVE
