    Update: With the relatively small amount of people showing interest in this, I think it'd be best to just make this strictly a team competition. Also, it seems like most people are just up for the first two buy-in levels ($45 & $90)... so unless a lot of interest is shown for the higher levels by tomorrow, we'll just stick to those two.

    Furthermore, I think it'd be best to set a minimum number of teams for this competition. 8 sounds like a good number to me... winner take all... winning team will end up getting $360/player (this includes both buy-ins combined).

    Week-Long pokerstars Small-Stakes MTT Team Competition

    (updated!) Starting on Monday November 12th at 12:00pm and ending Monday November 19th at 12:00pm. Only tournaments on POKERSTARS will count for this competition.

    Must be 3-person teams.



    We will be using TLB points for scoring, so please post your congratulatory emails from Stars in this thread (will likely make a new thread for these email posts once we get up and running).



    Buy-in levels (including entry fee for organizer(s) and money holder):



    4 Team buy-in levels:

    $44+1, $89+1, $179+1, $299+1 (team levels are PER TEAM)


    i.e. $44+1 level, each teammate pays $15.



    Money may be shipped at any time during the week, however results will only count from that time until the end of the week (i.e. if you ship $ on Tuesday, your Monday results wont count in the competition).

    Ship all money t<SPAN>o TakeThatCash (Henderson) on Stars. If youre wondering who that is, hes a former PocketFivesLive reporter and his P5s name is Michael_B.</SPAN>

    Each individual/team may play as many tournaments as they want during the designated time, but they must be small-stakes multi-table tournaments. <SPAN> </SPAN>For this competition well consider small-stakes as MTTs $22 and under.<SPAN> The ONLY rebuy tourneys that apply to this competition will be the 3r and 5r! And that's FINAL! :) </SPAN>Players may play any game they want to gain TLB points (NLHE, LHE, PLO, Omaha8b, Stud, Stud Hi/Lo, Razz, 5CD, HORSE).<SPAN> </SPAN>Freerolls, Sattys, and SNGs do NOT count (no 180 mans, 45 mans, shootouts, etc.) Also, regular (non-satty) shootouts and HU MTTs do NOT count either because Stars doesn't award TLB points for them.

    Top 30 scores count for the team portion (no more than 13 scores may count for one teammate).

    Payout structure: This applies to the prizepool of all team levels...
    1-8 teams - 1st = 100%
    9-15 teams - 1st = 80%, 2nd = 20%

    Just a question shane, are the scheduled triple shootouts gonna count? I assumed they would and that you were just referring to the satty shootouts not counting.

    No they don't, only because stars doesn't award TLB points for them. HU MTTs don't count either for the same reason. Just added those details to the above rules.

    I know its nit picking but i'm not sure what u mean. 12 pm is noon, I think you want it to be Nov 12th 12:00 AM (midnight) to Nov 19th 11:59 pm, 1 min before 20th starts

    I'd prefer to leave the starting/ending times as is. It'll be a full 7 days and I think a Noon starting time would be more appropriate for most players.

    I was trying to keep the buy-in levels from creeping into the "mid-stakes" range. Personally, I think of the 8+, 11+, and 11+1r1a as mid-stakes, but if no one's opposed to me adding those to the competition then I'm fine with that.

    Edit: Gomen, let me think about the non-holdem prizepool idea and get to back to ya...

    we will have a team made up shortly... did you want us to make team names etc?

    and I don't see how an $11 rebuy is a low stakes tourney, even an $8 rebuy is pushing it if the max freezout buyin is $22.

    Someone please explain to me how the max buy in can be 22 dollars but the 11 rebuy is included.........

    FTR i have NO problem with the 11r counting for this, but...... why would the 8:00 EST 27.50 25k not be included?????

    This tourn has to be included IMO
