5. The Argosy (KC) - How can I not rank the first poker room I ever visited. 3rd hand I get TTTT777 playing 7 card stud. I miss the place.
4. Taj Mahal, AC - The meca of yankee poker rooms. Ton of energy and foul language.
3. The Bellagio, Las Vegas - Lot of tourists, eruo trash, and a lot of action - what more could you want?
2. The Wynn, Las Vegas - Anyone want to play real poker should go here. First it's 9 handed table not packed in. Best wait staff in the business (try the vodka lemonade). No cap buy-in in the no limit games (although 1/3 just got capped).
1. Commerce Casino - The Disney World of Poker. The NL games blow a@@, but the limit games are the best anywhere. The energy in there could solve electric blackouts in southern CA. -
Played at the Argosy this week about 5 hours after a regular took down the bbjackpot for $102k. 87d made the worst str8 flush.
Caesar's Palace in my top5 but it is way too cold in there usually.
Also Horseshoe in Council Bluffs is pretty nice. -
I hear Hammond Horseshoe is nice. That is next on my list to visit.

1. Foxwoods
2. Borgata AC
3. Taj Mahal AC.
4. Holland Casino Amsterdam (The Netherlands)
Haven't been to any other but will try the Rio and Wynn in July. -
Foxwoods??? No way. Bad service, if I remember the rake is killer.
Honorable mention should be the Aviation Club in Paris, except the service is so bad, no one can get drunk. No cap on the rake. -
The London Vic...fun to dominate eurodonks ;-p

turning stone will always have the #1 place in my heart. only place i could play for 3 years so made the trek a few times to play some of their tournament weeks. i consider that my home court even tho its a 5 hour drive from south jersey. The Lodge FTMFW, never felt more like a baller in my life than when i was staying here. valet, two housekeepers that come by twice daily, free glass bottled water from sweden or some swedenish country, two tvs, couch with a couple chairs in the "living room", dual-shower heads for maximum relaxation, ballernation.
#2 borgata then after that theres not even a 3-8, the rest of the field is 9th and lower. my rankings are biased cause im an east coaster and havent had time to get out to vegas and the cali casinos. -
1. Venetian. well decorated room, nice staff.
2. Borgata. chips look clean. comfortable chairs. hottest waitresses.
3. Wynn. great place. wait staff is good.
4. Horseshoe Hammond. nice decoration. awful $2 chips for 1/2nl.
5. turningstone. place spoiled me as the first place i've been.
to the guy that had foxwoods #1... how? the dealers are awful, the staff is retarded, drink service is slow as hell.
disclaimer: i have not been to any cali rooms. -
I should mention I haven't been to Borgota and very possible has replaced the Taj (I've heard magnificent things about the place). I think I'll make a trip this spring out there.
A very close 6th would be the Poker Room at the Golden Nugget. A fish barrel during peak tourist seasons. The 1/2 is No Cap buy-in. Great Dealers (2nd behind the Wynn). The tournies there have no antes and you get plenty of play (usually only 3 tables).
