  1. i 9 table 6max sng s, i started off playing the 3$ games which are lower than my usual buy in but wanted to get used to 9 tabling again after having a break and all went well. i was up around 20 buy ins on the 3$ games within 2 days and my roi was at around 25-30% which was a little more than expected.

iv got the bankroll to easily play 6$ games so after the succesful start i went back to playing the 6$ games and found the standard just as shockingly bad. the only problem is iv been running god awful and have found myself losing around 75% of races and around 70% of 70/30s over last few days. im stuck around 15 buy ins on the 6$ games over a volume of around 150 games.

my question is is this a standard downswing for the amount of tables/ game type i play or am i running super bad???

cheers in advance for the replies
  2. sup std imo. i went on a 30buy-in downswing at the $6.50 45 mans in 100 games the other day, variance is a biatch my friend

  5. for now i'd drop back down. when you move back up, i'd reduce the amount of tables to maybe 6-7. worst downswing ive had has been about 8 buyins and i also play the 6 max sng's. gl

This happened to me not too long ago...I still haven't recovered :(
  8. I usually 6or 8-table the $6.50s, and I hear you....seems like coin flips aren't really flips, you lose a little more than usual with pocket over pocket, and AK vs. Ax, x seems to hit every time. :/

I checked my PT stats and all is well apparently, but the "variance" part is just how the sick stuff seems to come whenever your stack is all in.

Just hang in there I guess...take a break if you need to.
