I am wondering regardless of the out come of this hand, what
really is the best play in this type of spot.
Since 4 of use are playing for third and the BB's are pretty
close except for DreddMe which is short stacked.
Me = 6.92 BB (since he is going to hit the 200 blind)
LibraryCop =5.97 BB (since he is going to hit the 200 blind)
AgiPokerStar = 9.7 BB (since he is going to hit the 200 blind)
Now my thinking was that DreddMe had just lost a big pot
two hands before and was pushing pretty much any 2, madcashmon
was the chip leader and since he was the one to get
DreddMe's chips, him flat calling didn't surprise me.
since he just flated I figured he had something like a
A-rag hand or even possible something as weak as K or Q - Rag.
With pocket 9's and a push and a flat I figured to be ahead
the majorage of the time and with the blinds going up,
if I folded I would be left with about 7 BB by the time the
BB came around.
So if I won, that would put me in a better place to get into
second and have something to fight madcashmon with. But then
on the other side if I lose I would be bubble boy and no money.
So would it been better to just fold and hope for a better hand
or to push here and get into better shape?

Since you have almost no fold equity vs the big stack, your push over the top with and additional 1385 chips and madcash only has to call 725 to win 3025. He's getting 4.17:1 pot odds. How can he fold for that price with any two reasonable cards?
His calling range can be wide because neither of the short stacks will threaten his tournament life.
Nash calculation indicates you should have JJ+ to make the overcall here.
