I guess this is somewhat of a brag post, but also an informative one for those who have been thinking about making the switch from SNG's to Cash games, as I know a lot of people think about. First off I've been playing mostly heads up sng's for the last 4 years and been very successful, so much that I haven't had to work during my last 3 1/2 years of college. I've had my friends trying to convince me for at least a year now to switch, and telling me that I would kill it, but I just stayed in my comfort zone, and doing what I do best.
So finally this weekend, i decided to take a shot. I figured I would take 400 of my bankroll and take a shot with it, win or lose (Not giving myself much of an oppertunity to win, but I figured if i lose 4 buy in's at 1-2 100.00 buy in, it just wasn't meant to be) Needless to say, I CANNOT believe the play that goes on in these room sometimes, but since Friday I'm up almost $2,400 ( Playing mostly 1-2 and 2-4) Now, granted I know it's not always going to be this easy, but I guess my point is a lot of the good sng players who have been thinking about it, take a shot, and hopefully you'll be amazed as I am at some of the players and calls you'll see...... -
