Couple things about this hand:
villian is a donk.
Pre: might have folded to avoid such trouble but it's 1:11 and i am deep enough.
Flop: kinda good, narrowing the field.
Turn: ugly. i still want a showdown but make it cheap. i bet small for pot control. not really giving odds but i might seem weak.
River: well i meant a blocking bet but it did not really work out.
i was going for a cheap showdown but i ended up burning third of my stack.
how do you play this?
i am thinkig about checking the turn but i did not see a road to showdown that way. giving this up would have been better after all and i shouldn't have gone for a showdown but still i would welcome some opinions. -
any thoughts on this?

Smells like QJ or 10-9 suited to give him a straight on the turn, which it seems he did well to milk out of you with his call on the turn and he hit the cards he needed.
I think you played this well, and the blocking bet is good in theory, but if you're beaten you're beaten. Quite possibly a Queen simply calls your bet on the end, QJ likely raises. If he's a donk, I think you're looking at QJ or 10-9 for sure. The old 'hump all-in and hope he sees value in calling' trick from Mr. Donk Off.
Don't see why you should fold pre-flop when you're in the SB, have the odds and a decent starting hand. Good flop, and you narrowed down the field well. Another bet on the turn to find out where you're at, and you find you're probably behind because you get called in a second spot with an overcard and a straight possibility. Blocking bet on the river works providing Villain doesn't have you nutted, though it seems he does. Well played on all streets, in my opinion.
