  1. Just a general idea of how/what are the EASIEST ways to make a living with poker? What buyins/limit do you play? what game? what style of game(HU, super turbo, etc)? Just want to figure out an easier way to make money than what I have dealt with in the past
  2. Id imagine the reality of making a living from poker is a lot different to what the casual player thinks it is
  3. This site has a great video series w/ training and lot's of top poker players endorse his product.

  4. don't start

  5. is there an easy way to make a living playing poker? Most grinders will put in more time then they would working a 9-5. I play at the casino (1/2 NLHE, 1/2 HA, 1/2-2/5 PLO) to make some extra spending money. But doing it for a living, way more work then what you are expecting.
  6. I don't think there is an "easy" way to make a living off poker...aside from maybe binking the Main Event and then living off that the rest of your life. Professional grinders put in heaps of hours playing and even more hours studying the game and bettering themselves. All of them have to deal with the peaks and valleys of variance, all of them have to learn and abide by strict bankroll management...being a pro just isn't the life of leisure a lot of people seem to think it is.
  7. Move to Washington and I'll show you how easy it is...

Reason: more hours, less guarantees, pay for your own health care, etc... tons of good side, but it's no cakewalk.
  8. First of all the Olaafson thing was WAY TOO FUNNY.

Easiest? You need to change your mentality... Going into this with hopes of ease will only serve to shatter your dreams upon arrival...
  9. There is no easy way

This is the most logical...otherwise keep making accts with all your relatives, find that acct that runs awesome ALL the time, or make new ones when first year run goods dry out.

this only works on FTP tho

  15. Sign up to some tracking sires like sharkscope, check all the leaderboards, filter the top players by favorite game, find the highest ave. profit/game and you'll find out which tournaments have the most profit potential, and then report back to me with your findings.

EDIT: you can also search for satties with overlay, AP used to have $20 rebuy satties to the $530 150k than always got sick overlay, that's the closest thing to easy money I've ever seen in online poker. You'd have to play the 1st seat but any more seats you won that week would net you $530.

  19. Double or nothings and grind your scrotum off
  20. Be a winning player and grind the shit out of cash games. Oh and be properly rolled. Variance is a bitch
  21. MTTs are definitely easier, but now I wish that I learned cash games before MTTs the transition is alot easier that way..

  22. You might want to consider looking for a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow instead
