  1. Full report later
just busted out 32nd place in $2500 event at Borgata Open.
    h4h was over and hour.
last hand i reraised big stack (160,000) all in as BB when he raised me i had AJ spades, he called with 10 8 hearts...lofl...flops 2 pair...gg me
he had raised 5 hands in a row so i knew he had shit...i was right, but poker isnt fair, right?
Also won a single table satelite for a seat in main event Mon....
    ill write tourney report later

  2. Awesome job, man. Congratulations! Keep us posted!

  3. Went into tourney with less then 5 hrs sleep do to going late into the party Super Thurs tourney last night....but thats OK.

1st hand of the tourney, very 1st hand i get JJ. Its raised into me 4xBB, i call. Flop comes with KQ, hes betting, im out of the hand.

I had decided to play very tight especially until i saw how everyone was playing. There were at least 2 pros at my starting table, maye 3. 1 I saw on TV winning $1mil at Sands tourney in Vegas (dont know his name) Jean RObert Belonde (if that is how you spell it?) and then some guy who took 2nd in the $1000 tourney earlier in the week.

Anyway, it was a pretty aggressive group so i played VERY tight. TO put this in perspective, the ONLY showdown i lost THE ENTIRE TOURNEY was the last hand of the tourney.

Anyway, with 1 hour levels and 6000 in starting chips, i was able to play tight and let the others fight it out. I also got what i will assess as the worst hands in a major tourney i have ever played in. Did not get AA or QQ once! got KK once and JJ once (1st hand) got AK twice all tourney...that was it...wow....

I made the most of my hands, and a couple key ones had me with KK UTG with 3 calls, flop is Q J rag, im all in with 1 caller who flips AJ (thank god it wasnt QJ), Another key hand i raised with AJ in SB, BB reraises i call...flop is AJ8.,,...praise the lord.

Anyway, the best hands i played all tourney were the ones i folded. I had AK off, and before it got to me pot was raised then all in.....i folded....QQ vs KK.,..no A came, good fold.

    Had 1010 raised, im rereraised, all in, i fold...AK vs QQ...good fold...ive got AQ...flop an A, reraised all in...fold....shows me his set....good fold...etc etc...

the ONE 'bad fold' i make....its raised 3xBB to me from UTG in middle position, i simply call not raise, BB raises to 10xb, UTG goes all in.........I FOLDED (this is late now, like 70 people left)..BB calls and shows 10Q suited (UFR) UTG shows AJ suited.....Q on flop, A on turn (kill me now)...............

Finally, we get down to hand for hand...this is taking FOREVER, at this point i have 34k in chips, avg stack around 45k-50k. seat 2 and 3 at the table have a whopping 160k and 140 respectively. I try to steal a few hands that those 2 guys are NOT in and i have zero luck....finally hand for hand is over, everyone left in final 36 is in the money. Seat 2 is now raising indescriminately...and getting away with it. Every hand is raised 8-010k (blinds 1000-2000 at time). He raises 8k, table folds to me , i wake up with AJs in the BB. I push, he 'instacalls' and turns over............8 10 hearts...i kid u not.

    FLOP 10 3 8 NO SPADES at all...gg me.

He apologizes and says 'im just trying to speed up the game and make things happen'....

well, i cant complain, 32 of 323 and a good mindset heading into Mondays main event
see everyone there from P5s who is in and gl all

  4. you played with jean robert bellande? That must have been a blast!! The way he played in one of the circuit events in the WSOP, was absolutely hilarious.

    anyway gj
  5. i cant even describe all of the things he does in a tourney, it is beyond belief. He criticizes people at the table, if he sucks out its a great play, if someone sucks out on him hes an idiot. He complains to the floor about the rules, complains to floor about the dealer, complains about the break time, etc. He is VERY aggressive verbally towards other players (he said 'are you retarded, because i really thought you were' to a player...as one example)
and this was just in less then 2 hours i was actually at his table before we broke.

  6. wtg man good luck the rest of the way

  7. Great work man, can't wait to here how you do in the main event!

  8. GL at the main event!

According to PokerPages the Buy in was $2500+150 and it started paying at #36 for $2422. WTF is the Borgata doing with their pay structure?
  9. to add insult to injury i see i am listed in 34th not 32nd lofl. Not that it matters as money was the same, but it is just humorous. WTF again.
Also, 1 interesting hand i didnt mention. Right after dinner break, i was UTG with blinds/antes going up. I was almost red zoning. I was dealt AQ UTG and figured now was as good a time as any, so without saying a word i simply quietly pushed all my chips in. The table folded around to the button who said 'raise' and raised 3xBB not noticing all my chips were allready in. He said he didnt hear me say all in and didnt know i was in the pot. The dealer and table made him call my bet. He flipped over KQ suited to my AQ. No A but no K either so that was my 1 big break of the tourney. It was te 1st tourney i played where i did not suffer 1 bad beat until the last hand, and at same time did not put 1 bad beat on anyone
