  1. Talking to the security guard that works on my college campus, and after asking me what I plan on doing after college I mention that I have a real passion for poker and that this is my first month of no school and I've profited an amount that would indicate that I could do this as full time job post graduation (if I maintained my July profit 12 months a year). ANDDDD he goes on this long rant about how poker is IMMORAL (LOLLLLLL) and that poker is a terrible thing b/c people have no self control and lose all their money and people like me steal it from them. And I finally realized that there actually ARE people out there who think this way and just how insane and backward-minded they are.
How can we live in a country where we can legally choose where we work, legally choose what food or clothes or car to buy, legally choose where to vacation and live, but can not legally choose to gamble...I mean couldn't someone have an addiction to something legal that would leave them broke? I mean what if some idiot had an addiction to traveling and managed to spend his last dime booking a trip to miami for a week?...Would we then make money transactions through expedia.com illegal? "Social conservatives" are some of the most illogical and discriminating people out there and frankly they can all smfd..../rant
