Softest Day to Start WSOP Main Event?

    With four day ones to start the WSOP Main Event - anyone have any thoughts on which opening day is the softest?

    Didn't look but if there is a Sunday option, do it...most onlines won't be playing on Sundays live.

    Day 4? Most tourist will schedule vacations around this tourney and will not want to have to stay 3 days extra if they advance to their day 2

    I was actually thinking the opposite, wouldn't it make more since that they wouldnt want to have to hang around from 1a to day 2? Idk, just my twisted logic. I guess I could see if they didnt plan on making it out of day 1, but if your a fish arent you overconfident anyway?

    This was kinda relevant to me so I looked up the info. WSOP ME 2008:

    Day 1A - Thurs Jul 3 - 636 finishers of 1297 starters - biggest stack 194900
    Day 1B - Fri Jul 4 - 615 finishers of 1158 starters - biggest stack 177500
    Day 1C - Sat Jul 5 - 1026 finishers of 1928 starters - biggest stack 242950
    Day 1D - Sun Jul 6 - 1352 finishers of 2400+ starters - biggest stack 149000

    Seems like the tourist/holiday planning theory holds some water...in addition day 1C this year is a Sunday. Hopefully there's the added benefit of reduced # of online pros, and scanning the live updates, it seemed to me the largest concentration of recognizeable names played the Sat last year. So day 1C for me.
