I have not played much for the last year, mostly just a tournament here and there. I was not a great player when I played alot..lol.

Anyway I had built a hundred bucks into a thousand on Full Tilt mostly playing micro stakes sngs. Then I just sort of lost interest in building the bank roll and started playing the daily dollar or similar tournaments when ever the mood struck me.
Fast forward to Black Friday and now my bankroll is at the very least tied up for a while, if not gone, and I decided to try to build another bankroll from scratch, and picked Hero Poker to try it.
So tonight I entered their free roll, and there was a guy who was all in pre flop every other hand or so. Well nine minutes into the game I pick up pocket tens on the BB.
One limper and the all inner pushes, he has me covered, but I figure I am probably ahead. I call. The limper calls. Long story short the limper catches a J to pair his KJ os and I am gone.
The question I would like to ask, would you risk your stack this early, even knowing that you are probably ahead, not knowing what the limper is going to do, even though you know you are probably ahead of the all inner.
Here was my thought process, I considered folding because even though I was sure I was ahead of the all in, I did not want to get in a three way pot for all my chips. But I also saw it as an opportunity to triple up if my hand held up. And if I tripled up this early I felt I had a good chance to make it very deep.
I am thinking less of this free roll obviously than when I really start to play alot again. As it was I was a slim favorite going to the flop with two other opponents. Had the other guy not called I would have been a three to one fav. which would have been fine with me.
I guess my question is if there is a person yet to act in a situation like this, and you have a good hand, but not a great hand how much does it bear on your decision to risk all your chips with so many BB on the line.
If this is a stupid question I apologize, but I am rusty.
Thanks! -
500 freeroll and payouts arent nothn too grind for slam back tht TT and dont even trip 1st place the only thing worth winning on tht freeroll

if it was early on why not just 3 bet a normal size instead of over jamming. also the ? is do u feel u are better then most of the field? if so the u can even fold and move on

If this other guy was going all-in every other hand, then your hand is golden versus his range. He might be doing this with 22+, A2+, J8+,QT+, etc etc etc, and a bunch of other random stupid hands, so your TT could be dominating a lot of the time. I'm not folding this.

And I don't really care about the person yet to act. Limpers are folding more than 90% of the time (with the current action). I'd care if a nit limped UTG and I had a read, but this early, with no reads, I'd just go with my TT and be happy with my decision. -
I am calling this maniac with TT here in the free roll. Your going to have the best hand most of the time, and this is a great spot to accumulate chips early on in a large field mtt free roll. The original limper is also going to be folding over 90 % of the time, and even when he does call you might have him beat.

He can three bet when there is a maniac overshoving every other hand. I call here because you're definitely ahead of the shover's range and the limper probably folds a high % of the time.
