  1. Hey. I've just joined a $1 fixed Omaha tournament for a change, and I've just realised I have no idea what I'm doing. Well, no, I have a basic idea, but I mean, I don't know the relevant hand values, and what not. I've only played maybe 50 hands of pot limit omaha, in some of those 10c sng's, and that was a while ago. So I could use some quick tips and advice, if anyone's got any to spare?
  2. just remember that u only use 2 cards and have to use 2 cards from your hand.
  3. Bleh, I just made the nut flush and didn't even notice it, ended up just checking it. *slams head against the wall*

  4. In this situation the less you know the better. It's usually the lucky donk that wins, just play maniac style and TID.
  5. set mining = death

    drawing hands ftw!

you are really never too far ahead so bet pot when you know you have the best hand. Value town = I can't believe he hit runner runner again.
  6. play every hand. if you have four of the same suit in your hand you almost have a flush... gl

  8. So... what constitutes as a good starting hand in omaha? Connecting, suited cards, or pairs, what?

  12. Well I'm 12 out of 145 in chip counts. Which is hilarious, cause I really don't know what I'm doing half the time.
